Name Description

Efstathios Tsotsoros

Mr. Efstathios Tsotsoros has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Executive Board Member of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. since April 17, 2018. He was Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company until April 17, 2018. He is an Electrical-Mechanical Engineer from National Technical University of Athens, graduate Economist of the Department of Economics at the University of Athens. Since 1975 he is a professor at the Panteion University with specialty in Economic Development and Social Transformation. He served as a member of the Council and the Senate of the University and he was Director of the Postgraduate program, as well as of the Economic and Social Research Centre of the Department of Sociology. He has particularly important and extensive experience in senior management positions in public and private sectors as well as in local government. He has been Director of PPC, Board Member and CEO of Business Reconstruction Organization, Vice President and General Manager of Athens Regulatory Plan and Environmental Protection Organization, Board Member and CEO of various companies in the private sector and Founder, Chairman and CEO of the Broadcasting Group Alpha. He was also Advisor to the Minister of Energy, to Athens Mayor, to the President of the Greek Technical Chamber and he has also occupied the post of the Chairman of the National Committee of Program Agreements and Development Contracts. He has participated in research projects and in the preparation of techno-economic studies, in significant investment projects as well as in national and regional development programs. His scientific research has been published by the Educational Institutions of the National Bank of Greece, by Commerce and Piraeus Banks, by the National Research Foundation as well as by Papazisis Publishers.

Andreas Shiamishis

Mr. Andreas Shiamishis serves as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Executive Board Member of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. Holds an Economics degree specializing in Econometrics at University of Essex England and is a Fellow (FCA) member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He began his career in 1989 in the Banking and Financial Services practice of KPMG in London. From 1993 to 1998 he worked initially as executive and subsequently as the Finance and Customer Services Director, member of the Diageo International Group of food and beverages. In 1998 it took over as the Regional Finance and Business Development Director, with the responsibility for the areas of the Middle East and North Africa, of Pillsbury (group Diageo). The period from 2000 to 2002 he worked as Chief Financial Officer in a listed company of LEVENTIS Group interests, while in 2003 he was hired as Chief Financial and IT Officer at Petrola Hellas. After the merger of Petrola Hellas with Hellenic Petroleum, in 2004 he took over as Chief Financial Officer of the Group and member of the Group’s Executive Committee. He is a member of the Hellenic Chamber and of the Corporate Finance Faculty of the ICAEW.

Panagiotis Petroulias

Mr. Panagiotis Adamantios Petroulias has served as Managing Director EKO S.A. within Hellenic Petroleum S.A. since November 2015. He holds a Finance degree (BSc) from the University of Piraeus. He served as CEO of the Data Concept Group of companies. For more than 11 years, he was Financial and Administrative Director of the Bitros Holdings Group, listed on the ASE. From 1985 until 1998 he was Financial Executive Member of EKO S.A. and HELPE S.A. He was advisor to many large private companies for mergers, acquisitions, valuations and divisions. Since November 2015, he has been Managing Director of EKO S.A., a marketing subsidiary of HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group.

Stamatia Psyllaki

Ms. Stamatia Psyllaki serves as General Manager Group Human Resources & Administrative Services of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. She holds a Bachelor Degree from the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration/School of Economics and Political Science of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as an MBA. She started her professional career at the Aspropyrgos Hellenic Refinery in 1985 and continued in the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group until today. During this period, she gained experience in executive positions of responsibility in all fields of Human Resources of the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group, in Greece and abroad. After passing all levels of the hierarchy, in October 2015 she was appointed General Manager of Group Human Resources and Administrative Services. She has significant experience and expertise in Human Resources Management, on issues of policies and systems, labour relations, organizational development and education, performance evaluation, etc. She is a member of the Hellenic Economic Chamber.

Ioannis Apsouris

Mr. Ioannis Apsouris serves as General Manager Group Legal Services of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. Attorney at Law, qualified to plead before the Supreme Court, holds a Law degree from the Athens University and a Master’s Degree (DEA) from University of Aix en Provence, France. He was a partner at “Dryllerakis & Associates Law Firm”, handling cases of corporate, commercial and civil law. He is Chairman of the Board of ELPET BALKANIKI S.A. and VARDAX S.A, Group’s subsidiaries, he serves on the Boards of three other Group subsidiaries and is a member of the Supervisory Board of DESFA SA.

Ioannis Psychogios

Mr. Ioannis Psychogios has served as General Manager Group Supply, Refining & Sales, Executive Board Member of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. since 2015. Within the Company, he was General Manager, Domestic Marketing between 2013 and 2014, General Manager Refineries between October 1, 2011 and 2013, and Deputy General Manager Refineries between March 1, 2010 and October 1, 2011. Chemical Engineer graduated from the National Technical University of Athens with a Masters in Business Administration. He began his professional career in 1985 at the Aspropyrgos Refinery as a Production Engineer. After his placements throughout the administrative hierarchy, in 2003 he became the Refinery Manager. During the period 2005-2008, he was CEO of OKTA in Skopje, and from 2008 to 2010 he served as Director of Organization and Development for the Group's refineries. He served as CEO of the Group’s subsidiaries EKO and HELLENIC FUELS. He is General Manager of Group Supply, Refining and Sales.

Georgios Alexopoulos

Mr. Georgios (George) Alexopoulos serves as General Manager Group Strategic Planning & Joint Ventures, Executive Board Member of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. He is responsible for strategic planning, new business development, management of strategic projects and participations, the renewables business, and the Group’s representation in international organizations. He has represented Hellenic Petroleum on the Board of the European Petroleum Refiners Association as a Principal or Alternate Director since 2012. He joined Hellenic Petroleum in 2007. George Alexopoulos was Director of Business Planning & Development at an international, diversified business group (SETE S.A.), based in Geneva, Switzerland, from 1998 to 2006, while at the same time being responsible for the Group’s energy portfolio. He had previously worked in various technical and business development positions at Stone & Webster, Molten Metal Technology, Merck, Dow Corning, and Dow Chemical in the United States between 1993 and 1997. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (1998) and M. Sc. (1993) and B. Sc. (1992) degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Y. Grigoriou

Mr. Y. Grigoriou serves as General Manager Oil & Gas Exploration & Production of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. He is a mining engineer (National Technical University of Athens) and Geophysicist (MSc Applied Geophysics, University of Leeds, UK), with 36 years of experience in oil industry. He began his carrier as geophysicist at DEP S.A. (at 1982) and gradually specialized in upstream exploration, undertaking various managerial positions. Since 1998 he has been working in HELLENIC PETROLEUM, initially at Group strategic planning and development of new activities sector and then, from 2005 until today, in the field of E&P, passing from all levels of management. He served as advisor to EU Commission on energy strategy and evaluation of research proposals, as well as a Board member of the Group’s marketing subsidiaries and of he is Managing Director of HELPE Upstream and HELPE Patraikos subsidiaries. He also serves as the elected Deputy Chairman of the Scout Group's BoD of 76 oil companies operating in exploration and production of hydrocarbons in Central-Eastern Europe & Caspian (CEEC Scout Group).

Robertos Karahannas

Mr. Robertos Karahannas serves as General Manager Domestic & International Retail of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. An economist specialized in Finance and Accounting. A Fulbright scholar, he studied in the United States and holds a post graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Lehigh University, Pennsylvania. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi honorary societies. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he is a member of the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) with extensive experience in management positions in several sectors of the economy such as financial information, maritime and energy. He worked in Cyprus as an auditor for Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). In 1995 he moves to Greece as an Area Finance Manager for Dow Jones Telerate, where he also held the position of the President of the Board of Directors. In 2001 and for the next 5 years, he works in the marine sector for Royal Olympic Cruises and Capital Maritime & Trading. Since 2006 he works for the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group, originally as the Group Controller, later as the Finance General Director of EKO ABEE, and the Retail Finance Manager. Today he is the General Manager of Domestic and International Retail for the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group and Vice Chairman –President from 01/08/2018- at the Hellenic Petroleum Marketing Companies Association (SEEPE). He participates actively on several BoD’s of HELLENIC PETROLEUM companies in Greece and abroad as well as on a number of group committees regarding investments, credit assessment and remuneration.

Aggelos Kokotos

Mr. Aggelos Kokotos serves as General Manager Group Internal Audit of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. A chemical engineer, with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He initially worked as an Engineer in Handling and Losses Dept. at the Aspropyrgos Refinery. He served for five years respectively, as General Manager of Group Human Resources & Administrative Services of the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group and DEPA, as well as Chairman of DIAXON SA.

Konstantinos Panas

Mr. Konstantinos Panas serves as General Manager Supply & Trading of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. Chemical engineer from the National Technical University of Athens. He originally worked at the Thessaloniki refinery and DEP SA. Later, he assumed managerial positions at the fields of Corporate Planning and Supply & International Trading.

Georgios Grigoriou

Mr. Georgios Grigoriou serves as Non-Executive Board Member of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. He is a Chemical Engineer, graduated from National Technical University of Athens, with post graduate studies (Master of Science) in Chemical Engineering-Physical and Chemical Processes, from Columbia University, U.S.A. He joined HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group in 1984 (former DEP-EKY and DEP) in various job positions, in E&P and Supply & Trading Divisions, where he became Director of Logistics Coordination in 2010. He retired from the Group in 2011.

Dimitrios Kontofakas

Mr. Dimitrios Kontofakas has served as Non-Executive Board Member of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. since October 15, 2015. He holds an Economics degree from University of Athens. For several years up to 1993, he was CEO in export trade companies while from 1993 until 1998 he assumed managerial positions in media Groups such as CFO and CEO in subsidiaries of the Bobolas Group and Androulidakis Group. From 1998 up to now he has been serving as CFO to a Group of companies of wind and photovoltaics parks and is responsible for the financial management and planning. He is also a major shareholder and manager of a construction company for private projects while he also participates in a BoD of an environmental company specializing in solid waste management studies. From 2015 onwards he is also a Special Advisor in matters of investments and international economic relations to the vice-president of the Greek government.

Loudovikos Kotsonopoulos

Vassilis Kounelis

Mr. Vassilis Kounelis serves as Non-Executive Board Member of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. He holds a Law Degree from the National and Kapodistian University of Athens and a Masters in Criminology from Panteion University. He is a Lawyer at Greece’s Supreme Court, with long experience as an active lawyer in most fields of law and regular member of the Professional Sports Committee, Article 77 of Law 2725. He has served as a Legal Advisor of Media Desk Hellas, Member of the Constitutional Rights and Environment Committees of the Athens Bar Association and a Member of the Steering Committee of the 12 (largest) scientific bodies for the environment, as a representative of the ABA.

Panagiotis Ofthalmidis

Mr. Panagiotis Ofthalmidis has served as Non-Executive Board Member - Employees’ Representative of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. since May 14, 2008. He graduated from the Electrical Engineering School (TE) of the Technological Educational Institute of Kavala in 1987. He is Member of the Scientific Society of Technological Education of Engineers (E.E.T.E.M.) of Thessaloniki - Chalkidiki. Since 1989, he has been employed by Hellenic Petroleum (formerly, EKO) in the department of Electrical Maintenance of Refinery and Chemical Plants of the Industrial Installations in Thessaloniki. From 1990 to 1997, he was Deputy Chairman of the Union of Employees in Thessaloniki Refineries of EKO (ex ESSO PAPAS) and in 2000, he was Chairman of the Union of Employees in Thessaloniki Refinery of EKO (ex ESSO PAPAS). Following the merger of EKO-ELDA-DEP-DEP EKY into Hellenic Petroleum S.A., he had been an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Pan-Hellenic Union of Employees in Hellenic Petroleum (P.S.E.E.P.) until November 2007. Following the Union's elections in November 2007 and to date, he has been Chairman of the Pan-Hellenic Union of Employees in the Company. During 2002-2005, he was member of the Departmental Board of the Company.

Theodoros Pantalakis

Mr. Theodoros Pantalakis has served as Non-Executive Board Member - Minority Shareholders’ Representative of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. since December 28, 2009. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Industrial Studies (University of Piraeus). From 1980 until 1991 he was working at the National Bank of Investment and Industrial Development (ETEBA) and from 1991 until 1996 was the Deputy General Manager of Interamerican Group. From March 1996 until April 2004 he was Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Greece, whilst at the same time was President, Vice President or Member of Boards related to Companies in the interests of the National Bank of Greece. He was also Vice-Chairman of the Athens Stock Exchange and Chairman of the Central Securities Depository. In May 2004, he joined Piraeus Bank Group as Vice-Chairman and Deputy Managing Director and in January 2009, he became Vice-Chairman and Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Pantalakis has also served as Chairman of TRASTOR REIC S.A., Chairman of the Board of Directors of the European Reliance General Insurance Co. and member of Boards of Directors to companies in the interests of the Piraeus Bank Group. He undertook the position of Chairman-Governor of Agricultural Bank of Greece in December 2009, and holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of various subsidiaries of ATEbank Group. Mr. Pantalakis is also member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Banking Association.

Spiros Pantelias

Mr. Spiros (Spiridon) Pantelias has served as Non-Executive Board Member- Minority Shareholders’ Representative of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. since December 28, 2009. Mr. Pantelias joined TT Hellenic Postbank in December 2009 as an Executive Vice Chairman. Prior to his appointment he worked at the Bank of Cyprus as Group General Manager of Investment Banking, Asset Management and Brokerage, covering Greece, Cyprus and Russia. He also held positions with Emporiki Bank (Deputy General Manager of Investment Banking & Asset Management, 2005-2007), EFG Telesis Finance (General Manager, Head of Investment Banking, 2002-2004), Geniki Bank, National Bank of Greece, Hellenic Bank Association and Reuters News Agency. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis (Ph.D. in Economics, 1991 and M.A. in Economics, 1987) and the University of Athens (B.A. in Economics, 1986).

Konstantinos Papagiannopoulos

Mr. Konstantinos Papagiannopoulos has served as Non-Executive Board Member - Employees’ Representative of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. since June 28, 2013. Graduate of the Technical School of Electronics of Technical University of Crete in 1984. Since 1981 he has worked initially in Petrola Hellas plc and after the merger with Hellenic Petroleum he worked in the section of Electrical and Instrumentation to Elefsina Refinery. From 2004 he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Panhellenic Workers Association ELPE. In February of 2013 he has been elected as the representative of the workers in the BoD

Theodoros-Achilleas Vardas

Mr. Theodoros-Achilleas Vardas has served as Non-Executive Board Member of Hellenic Petroleum S.A. since October 2003. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the BoD of EKO SA, the Group’s marketing company. He has a Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Eidgenoessische Technische Hochschule Zuerich, and a PhD from the Systems Engineering Department of the same institute. He began his professional career in 1979 at the Latsis Group, where he worked in key positions and in 1981 as General Manager of Petroleum Products Trading. At the same time, from 1988 to 2003, he was the Deputy CEO and Member of the BoD of Petrola Hellas SA. Since October 2003, following the merger of Petrola Hellas SA and Hellenic Petroleum SA until the end of 2016, he served as a Management Consultant of HELLENIC PETROLEUM SA. He also served as Member of the BoDs of Papastratos SA (1999-2003), DEPA SA (2004-2016), ELPEDISON BV (2008-2016).
