Biographies

Name Description

Patrick Jones

Mr. Patrick Schwager Jones has served as Independent Chairman at Inside Secure SA since June 3, 2015. He was previously Member of the Supervisory Board at the company. He is Chairman of company's Audit Committee and Member of Nominating, Remuneration and Governance Committee. He was appointed as Chairman of the boards of both Lattice Semiconductor and Epocrates Inc. He sits on the Board of Talend and on the Board of Vesta Inc. In addition, he previously sat on the Boards of many high-tech firms financed by venture capital investors. From 1998 to 2001, he was Senior Vice President and CFO of Gemplus SA (since integrated into Gemalto). He oversaw the initial public offering of the company on the New York and Paris stock exchanges. He had previously occupied the posts of Vice President for Finance and Corporate Controller at Intel, and CFO at LSI Logic, a manufacturer of specialized semiconductors. He began his career as an engineer at IBM, before working for Singer Company in Thailand, France and Singapore. He has an MBA in finance from Saint Louis University (United States) and is a graduate of the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign (also United States).

Amadeo D'Angelo

Mr. Amadeo D'Angelo has been Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of Inside Secure SA as of September 29, 2015. He is also non-executive chairman of Linxens, one of Inside Secure’s suppliers. He is currently also Chairman of the Board of Directors at Inside Secure Corp. (United States).Prior to joining Inside Secure in 2015, he spent a large portion of his career in the hi-tech sector. He dedicated the first 12 years of his career to semiconductors at AMD (Advanced Micro Devices), and then as the head of Samsung’s European operations. He has held top management positions in leading global companies including Gemplus Card International, now Gemalto, as President. He was also the founder and CEO of Incard, an Italian company developing chip card, software applications and security products to serve the banking, telecom and the identity markets. He then was founder and Chairman of Y Generation, which developed a mobile payment platform. Amedeo also served as Chief Operating Officer at Oberthur Card Systems, developing security software and solutions for payment and telecom markets. He was also CEO of Ingenico, a global leader in secure transactions and payment systems, at a time of a strategic, structural change, and he succeeded in leading the company back to profitability.

Jean Schmitt

Mr. Jean Schmitt serves as Independent Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Inside Secure SA. He is Member of company's Nominating, Remuneration and Governance Committee. He is Chairman of Jolt Capital, SuperJolt SAS and Alma Learning Group . Before setting up Joltech Capital Jean Schmitt spent 10 years with Sofinnova Parners as associate where he led the investment team in the IT sector. Mr. Schmitt is the founder of SLP Infoware, which he sold to Gemplus in 2000. At that time he was President-CEO of SLP Infoware and also Vice President of Telecom Solutions and Applications at Gemplus. Mr. Schmitt created and sold three other companies before founding SLP Infoware. Mr. Schmitt is a graduate from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications (ENST) and holds a post-graduate diploma in Artificial Intelligence. Since 2005 he has held the position of Senior Lecturer at Paris Telecom.

Richard Vacher Detourniere

Mr. Richard Vacher Detourniere serves as Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Management Board at Inside Secure SA. Prior to that he served as a partner at Siparex. He joined Siparex in 1994, and was involved in more than 25 financing transactions, including leveraged buy-outs, growth capital investments and investments in young companies. He went on to serve as a partner in the information technology sector. Following that, he helped to run SBV Venture Partners in California's Silicon Valley, a venture capital firm co-managed by Siparex. He was Siparex's permanent representative on the boards of thirteen of its portfolio companies, including Nanolase (sold to JDS Uniphase), SoiSic (sold to ARM), Leguide.com (listed on NYSE Alternext Paris), EVE (specializing in hardware/software co-verification) and INSIDE. He also served on the audit committees of many of these companies. He started off his business career in 1990 as a consultant at Price Waterhouse, concentrating on auditing and transaction support services, first in France, then in Central Europe. He is a graduate of the Ecole superieure de commerce in Amiens, holds a Master's degree in accountancy and finance.

Steve Oetegenn

Mr. Steve Oetegenn serves as Group's Chief Operating Officer at Inside Secure SA. He joined Verimatrix (subidiary of Inside Secure) in 2004 as the Senior Vice President of Global Operations. In this role, he was responsible for defining and implementing the company's go to market strategy and operational success factors. In 2005 he was named Executive Vice President, global sales and in 2008, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. Steve has a wide range of experience in international business, having launched numerous high tech products to the global marketplace. Steve has specialized in Digital Security and Anti-Piracy since 1998, working with Government agencies, Global Banks, Fortune 500 companies and Major Hollywood studios. Prior to joining Verimatrix, he was COO of MediaSec Technologies LLC, a pioneer and leader in the field of digital watermarking, COO of Argus Systems Group, a leading provider of Internet server security software. Mr. Oetegenn is a featured speaker at global digital security conferences.

Bronwyn Savary

Ms. Bronwyn Savary serves as Senior Vice President & General Counsel at Inside Secure SA. In this role she advises the Company on a variety of legal issues associated with the global development, marketing, licensing and sale of technology and professional services. From 1996 until the company's acquisition in 2007, Bronwyn served as legal counsel to Acucorp, Inc. (acquired by UK-based Micro Focus), a software company in the legacy extension market. In this position, she gained extensive U.S. and international experience in intellectual property licensing, corporate matters, and employment law. Bronwyn received her bachelor's degree in East Asian Studies, with a concentration in Japanese language and culture, from the University of Illinois. She received a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and is licensed to practice in California and New York.

Valerie Convers

Ms. Valerie Convers is Inside Secure’s Senior Vice-President of Human Resources. She has over 20 years of extensive experience in operational management roles. Before joining the company in 2005, she held various management positions within Gemplus, including setting up the Customer Service organization at the Group level and managing it for six years. She handled pre-sales activities and was the Head of Call for the Tenders Office. Valerie holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from IAE in Aix-en-Provence, and earned a Master’s degree in Business.

Kevin Beadle

Mr. Kevin Beadle is Inside Secure’s Senior Vice President Silicon IP and Secure Protocols business units. Kevin joined Inside Secure in January 2014 as part of the Americas Sales Team. Prior to joining Inside Secure, Kevin worked at a number of multinational semiconductor companies, including Fairchild Semiconductor, Wolfson Microelectronics, Intel and National Semiconductor in Sales and Marketing executive roles. He has an extensive background in the Mobile, Consumer, Networking and the IOT markets. Kevin attended the University of Texas and received a degree in Engineering Science.

Petr Peterka

Mr. Petr Peterka serves as Chief Technology Officer of Inside Secure SA. He has served as CTO of Verimatrix since 2010. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s overall revenue security strategy and anti-piracy efforts as well as its advanced technology research and intellectual property development. He has more than 25 years of experience in the multimedia industry, and has extensive familiarity with content protection techniques for IPTV, DVB and OTT streaming, as well as forensic watermarking technology. Petr joined Verimatrix in 2010 from Motorola’s Home and Networks Mobility Team. In this role, he led teams working on digital rights management (DRM) for multimedia streaming over IP networks, content sharing within home networks, and other related products. He also played a lead software architect role in the development of satellite, cable and IPTV conditional access systems (CAS) for pay TV. He earned a master of science degree from Czech Technical University in Prague and a master of science in Computer Science degree from University of California in San Diego. Petr also holds 26 US patents and numerous patent applications.

Asaf Ashkenazi

Mr. Asaf Ashkenazi is Inside Secure’s Chief Strategy Officer, responsible for developing and communicating the organization strategic plans, initiatives and future goals. He is also responsible for analyzing market dynamics, building strategic partnerships and identifying potential M&A targets. He has more than 15 years of security experience, spanning product management, business development and a variety of engineering roles throughout his career. Asaf began his career at Motorola Semiconductor where he developed hardware security modules and prior to joining Inside Secure, he oversaw security product management at Rambus and Qualcomm Technologies Inc. Asaf has served as board member of the FIDO Alliance, he holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, and has been granted 10 U.S. patents for security architectures and solutions.

Mr. Alain Blancquart has been Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Inside Secure SA since June 14, 2017. He is currently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sierrabolics, a data analytics software company based in California. He has spent the past 40 years in high-ranking executive positions from International Vice-President to Chairman and CEO of emerging companies and established groups, including listed companies such as Micropro, Borland, Computervision, Openwave, Esmertec and Streamezzo. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Esmertec, Alain oversaw a successful IPO on the Swiss market four years after the business was originally set up. His expertise in the development of start-ups, global restructuring and creation of value creation for investors is well-known. He graduated in electronic engineering from the Ecole Centrale Paris.

Muriel Barneoud

Ms. Muriel Barneoud is Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Inside Secure SA. She is Chairwoman of the Nominating, Remuneration and Governance Committee. She serves as Director of CSR for La Poste group. From 2010 to 2016, she was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Docapost (a subsidiary of La Poste group) specializing in digital and mobile transition of companies and institutions and an expert in document management, digitalization, and security of electronic communications. Ms. Barneoud joined the La Poste group in 1994 after an initial experience at Arthur Andersen. She went on to become Deputy Chief Executive Officer of mail services, responsible for production. She was non-executive chairman of two logistics holding companies (Viapost and STP). While at Docapost, she also sat on the supervisory committee of Xange Private Equity (La Poste group’s private equity company), and on the Board of Directors of 82 Sofipost, a La Poste group holding company. She is also an independent director of Akka tech. She is a board member of the ACSEL trade association (digital transformation hub) and the AFRC association (French customer relationship management association) and is also a member of the management committee for the CNAM Abbe Gregoire foundation. She graduated from the IEP Paris (Paris Institute of Political Studies) and ENSPTT engineering schools and holds a postgraduate diploma in finance and tax.

Catherine Blanchet

Ms. Catherine Blanchet has been Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Inside Secure SA since December 16, 2016. She is Member of company's Audit Committee as well as of Nominating, Compensation and Governance Committee. Ms. Blanchet is a member of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Coheris, a CRM and analytics solutions provider. In 2015, she created her own business supporting growing companies by accelerating their development and optimizing their valuation. Mrs. Blanchet began her career in 1994 with Credit Lyonnais in New York, before joining the bank’s international audit department. From 1998 to 2008 she worked with Completel, a B2B telecom operator, notably as Deputy Chief Financial Officer in charge of strategic planning, financing and investor relations, to support the group’s development and promote it to investors. From 2009 to 2015, she worked with Ingenico, first as Investor Relations Director to raise the group’s profile on the financial markets and enhance its appeal to investors, then as Vice-President of Investor Relations and External Communications to manage the transformation of the group’s image. Ms. Blanchet holds degrees from the Universite Paris IX Dauphine (1993) and a telecom finance specialty degree from the Institut Mines-Telecom Bretagne (France).
