Name Description

Stephen Lacy

Mr. Stephen Mark Lacy has been appointed Executive Chairman of the Board of Meredith Corporation effective February 1, 2018. Lacy joined Meredith in 1998 as Chief Financial Officer. He was promoted to National Media Group President in 2000, and named President and CEO in 2006. He became Chairman and CEO in 2010. Lacy has been instrumental in transforming Meredith into the multiplatform company it is today. He oversaw the aggressive expansion of its media portfolio; the launch of its digital business; and the growth of its brand licensing activities. Lacy is Chairman of the Board of The Association of Magazine Media, and serves on the Boards of The Advertising Council and The International Federation of the Periodical Press. He also serves on the Boards of Hormel Foods Corporation and Great Western Bank Corp.

Thomas Harty

Mr. Thomas H. Harty has been appointed President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company effective February 1, 2018. Harty joined Meredith in 2004 as its Chief Revenue Officer and President of Consumer Magazines. He was named National Media Group President in 2010. Under Harty's leadership, Meredith greatly expanded its media portfolio, adding brands such as Allrecipes.com, Shape, andMartha Stewart Living- along with the incoming Time Inc. brands. He created the innovative Meredith Sales Guarantee, which proves that advertising on Meredith's media platforms directly leads to an increase of product sales at retail. Immediately prior to Meredith, Harty was Senior Vice President for The Golf Digest Companies, a division of Advance Publications. His 30-plus years of media experience include senior leadership positions with several of the industry's largest companies. He currently serves as Treasurer and on the Board of The Association of Magazine Media and the Alliance for Audited Media.

D. Mell Frazier

Ms. D. Mell Meredith Frazier is an Independent Vice Chairman of the Board of Meredith Corporation. She is Chairman of the Nominating/Governance Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee. She is also the Chairman of the Board of the Meredith Corporation Foundation. Ms. Frazier began her career at Meredith in 1976, holding various positions throughout the Company, including editorial, financial, marketing and production positions in publishing; acquisition and financial analysis in broadcasting; and various corporate staff positions through 2003. As a fourth-generation member of the Meredith family, she holds a deep appreciation of the values and societal roles of the Company throughout its history. In addition, her previous service as an employee in various positions throughout the Company allows her to share a singular perspective with the Board.

Joseph Ceryanec

Mr. Joseph H. Ceryanec is a Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Prior to joining Meredith Corporation. Mr. Ceryanec served as President, Central Region for PAETEC Corporation (February 2008 - October 2008). Prior to PAETEC's acquisition of McLeodUSA, Mr. Ceryanec served as McLeodUSA's Group Vice President, Chief Financial Officer from 2005 to 2008.

Patrick McCreery

Mr. Patrick McCreery is President - Local Media Group of the Company. Mr. McCreery joined Meredith in 2002 as Special Projects Executive Producer at KPHO-TV in Phoenix. He held various roles within the Local Media Group including Vice President & General Manager of KPTV and KPDX, the Company's Portland-based duopoly. In 2014 he served as Vice President of News and Marketing until his promotion in January 2018 to Executive Vice President.

Jonathan Werther

Mr. Jonathan (Jon) B. Werther is a President, National Media Group of the Company. Mr. Werther joined Meredith in 2012 as Chief Strategy Officer and was promoted to President of Meredith Digital in 2013. Werther spent more than 10 years in positions of increasing scale and responsibility at Time Warner and its AOL division. Immediately before joining Meredith, Werther served as a President of Simulmedia, an audience-targeted television ad network.

Bruce Gersh

Mr. Bruce Gersh is Executive Vice President and President - People and Entertainment Weekly of the Company. Gersh has an extensive entertainment business background, including Executive Vice President and Head of Digital, Strategy and Branded Entertainment at ITV Studios America; Managing Director, Global Head of Media and Entertainment at Allison + Partners; and Senior Vice President, Strategy and Operations, and Intellectual Property at the William Morris Agency. An Emmy-award-winning media executive, Gersh joined Time Inc. in January 2016 to oversee business development for People and Entertainment Weekly . In July 2016 he was named Senior Vice President, Strategy and Brand Business Development, leading business development efforts across all Time Inc.

Alysia Borsa

Ms. Alysia Borsa is Chief Marketing and Data Officer of the company. Since joining Meredithin 2011, Borsa has served in several executive roles, including Vice President of Product forMeredith'smobile web and tablet offerings, Senior Vice President/Chief Data Officer, and most recently, Executive Vice President/Chief Data and Insights Officer. Prior to joiningMeredith, she spent eight years as a management consultant in the media and technology space (Accenture), product marketing lead (Comcast) and product and business development executive (Nokia). She has received numerous honors over her distinguished career, has led industry committees, and has been a speaker at major summits sponsored by The Association of Magazine Media (MPA), Folio, Association of National Advertisers, Mobile Marketing Association, Interactive Advertising Bureau and Digiday, among others.

Mr. John S. Zieser is Chief Development Officer, General Counsel, Secretary of Meredith Corporation, Since 2006. Formerly Vice President-Corporate Development/General Counsel and Secretary (2004 - 2006).

Paula Kerger

Ms. Paula Kerger is Director of the company. She joined PBS in 2006, and under her leadership, PBS has grown its audiences across genres and platforms. PBS is now the sixth-most watched network in America, up from 15 th in the past decade. Over the course of a year, 86 percent of all U.S. television households watch PBS, and each month Americans view an average of 255 million videos across its web, mobile and connected device platforms. Kerger also serves as president of the PBS Foundation, an independent organization that raises private sector funding - a significant source of revenue for new projects at PBS. Prior to joining PBS, Kerger served for more than a decade at Educational Broadcasting Corporation (EBC), the parent company of Thirteen/WNET and WLIW21New York, where her ultimate position was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Her tenure boasts many achievements, including WNET's completion in 1997 of the largest successful endowment campaign ever undertaken by a public television station. Kerger received her bachelor's degree from the University of Baltimore, where she serves on the Merrick School of Business Dean's Advisory Council. She has received honorary doctorates from Washington University in St. Louis; Northeastern University in Boston; Grand Valley State University in Michigan; and Allegheny College in Pennsylvania. Kerger is a member of the Women's Forum, director of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and chair of the board of the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History.

Donald Baer

Mr. Donald A. Baer is an Independent Director of the Meredith Corporation. He serves as Worldwide Chair and CEO for Burson-Marsteller, a strategic communications firm and as Chairman of Penn, Schoen & Berland, a research firm, both WPP, Inc. companies. Mr. Baer has been a member of Burson-Marsteller’s global senior management team since 2008. Mr. Baer also serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the U.S. Public Broadcasting Service. Previously, Mr. Baer was Sr. Executive Vice President for Strategy and Development and an executive committee member of Discovery Communications. Prior to this position, Mr. Baer served as White House Senior Advisor to President Bill Clinton. Mr. Baer brings a broad and deep understanding of the media and marketing industries, strategic communications, strategy and development and governmental policy.

Donald Berg

Mr. Donald C. Berg is an Independent Director of Meredith Corporation. Mr. Berg is currently President of DCB Advisory Services, a consulting firm to food and beverage companies from multinational conglomerates to start-up companies. Previously, Mr. Berg was Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of Brown- Forman Corporation, a family-controlled public company, until April 2014. In addition to his role as CFO, during his 26 year career at Brown-Forman, Mr. Berg held various executive positions, including President of its emerging market division; President of its largest operating group, the Americas; the head of its strategic planning function; and the director of its mergers and acquisitions group. Mr. Berg joined the Board of Directors of Gildan Activewear, a publicly traded company, in February 2015, currently serving as Chair of the Compensation and Human Resources Committee and as a member of the Audit/Finance and Governance/Social Responsibility Committees.

Frederick Henry

Mr. Frederick B. Henry is an Independent Director of Meredith Corporation. He is currently the Chairman of the Compensation Committee and a member of the Nominating/Governance Committee. Mr. Henry has been President of The Bohen Foundation, a private charitable foundation that supports the arts, since 1985. During his tenure as a director, Mr. Henry has served on every standing committee of the Board and he brings an invaluable understanding of each committee’s work to the Board as a whole.

Joel Johnson

Mr. Joel W. Johnson is an Independent Director of Meredith Corporation. He serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee and is a member of the Nominating/Governance Committee. Mr. Johnson retired as Chairman of the Board of Hormel Foods Corporation in December 2006. Mr. Johnson’s tenure as Chairman and CEO of Hormel, a public company with global operations, provided him with directly relevant operating experience. In addition, his prior service on the Boards of Ecolab, Inc. from 1996 to 2016 and U.S. Bancorp from 1999 to 2016 has provided him with significant public company board experience.

Beth Kaplan

Ms. Beth J. Kaplan is Independent Director of the Company. She is the managing member of Axcel Partners, LLC, a venture capital firm investing in early stage and growth companies founded and led by women. Ms. Kaplan served as President and COO at Rent the Runway from 2013 to 2015 and continues to serve on the Board of Directors. She also served as President and Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer from 2008 to 2011, and as a director in 2011 at General Nutrition Centers, Inc. (“GNC”) where she played an integral role in the company’s 2011 initial public offering. Prior to GNC, Ms. Kaplan served as Executive Vice President and General Manager at Bath & Body Works; Executive Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising at Rite Aid Drugstores; and President and General Manager of the Cosmetics and Fragrance division at Procter & Gamble. Ms. Kaplan provides valuable industry experience leading top female brands.

Philip Marineau

Mr. Philip A. Marineau is an Independent Director of Meredith Corporation. He has been a member of the Board since 1998 and currently serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee and as a member of the Compensation Committee. In October 2008 he became a partner at LNK Partners, a private equity firm based in White Plains, New York. He retired from Levi Strauss & Co. in November 2006, where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) since September 1999. His prior service includes terms as an executive officer at PepsiCo, Dean Foods Company and Quaker Oats Co. Mr. Marineau served as Chairman of the Board of Shutterfly, Inc. from April 2007 to June 2016. Mr. Marineau has an extensive record of achievement in consumer products marketing and management. Mr. Marineau’s consumer products and marketing experience provides important insight and guidance to our management team and the Board and is instrumental to the development of our overall business strategy.

Elizabeth Tallett

Ms. Elizabeth E. Tallett is an Independent Director of Meredith Corporation. From 2002 to 2014, Ms. Tallett was Principal at Hunter Partners, LLC, a management company for early to mid-stage pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies. She continues to operate as a consultant to early stage pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. In addition to serving on the Board, Ms. Tallett serves on the Boards of Principal Financial Group, Inc., serving as Lead Director and on the Executive, Human Resources and Nominating/Governance Committees; Qiagen, N.V., serving as Chairman of the Compensation Committee and on the Audit Committee; and Anthem, Inc., serving as Chairman of the Governance Committee and on the Compensation and Executive Committees. During the past five years, she was also a director at Coventry Health Care, Inc. and IntegraMed America, Inc.
