Name Description

Roland Duchatelet

Mr. Roland M. Duchatelet has served as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Melexis NV. He is Chairman of the Company's Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees. He has been private shareholder of the company since April 1994 and has served as Director since that date. He contributed in the start-up of two other semiconductor manufacturers: Mietec Alcatel (Belgium) from 1983 to 1985 as business development / sales manager and Elmos GmbH (Germany) from 1985 to 1989 as marketing manager. Mr. Duchatelet was the co-founder of the parent company of Melexis NV. He holds a degree a Doctorate in Philosophy in Electronics Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Leuven.

Francoise Chombar

Mrs. Francoise Chombar has served as Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director and Executive Director of Melexis NV since February 15, 2011. She previously served as acting Chief Operating Officer from 1994. Prior to that date, she served as Planning Manager at Elmos GmbH (Germany) from 1986 to 1989. From 1989 she served as Operations Manager and Director at several companies within the Elex-Xtrion group. Mrs. Chombar became Director in 1996. She holds a Masters degree as Interpreter in Dutch, English and Spanish from the University of Gent. In 2004 Mrs. Chombar was appointed co-Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

Karen van Griensven

Ms. Karen van Griensven has served as Chief Financial Officer of Melexis NV since 1998. She joined the Company in 1997. Prior to that, she served at Elex NV. Ms. van Griensven obtained a degree in bio-engineering in Ghent (Belgium) and Montpellier (France) as well as a Masters of Business Administration from Solvay Business School.

Mr. Marc Biron has acted as Vice President - Sense & Drive of Melexis NV since 2017. Between 2016 and 2017 he acted as Vice President - Development & Quality in the Company and between 2009 and 2016 he was the Company's Global Development Manager 2009. He joined the Company in 1997 as an analogous designer. Prior to that, he worked as Project Manager and Business Unit Manager for magnetic sensors. Mr. Biron obtained a degree in Electronics Engineering from the Universite de Liege, as well as a Doctorate in Philosophy in 1999.

Mr. Shiro Baba has served as Non-Executive Independent Director of Melexis NV since April 2013. He is Member of the Company's Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees. He has more than 38 years of professional and management experience in different fields related to the semiconductor business. He started his career in 1975 with the semiconductor division of Hitachi. Since 1999 he has held several general management positions within the Hitachi semiconductor division. From 2003 till 2009 Mr. Baba was employed by Renesas Technology Corp. amongst others as general manager of the Automotive Semiconductor Business Unit and later as Board Director and senior VP. His last mandate was President & CEO of Hitachi ULSI Systems Co. before retiring in 2013. Mr. Baba obtained a Master’s degree in Electrical and Physical Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology and in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Martine Baelmans

Ms. Martine Baelmans holds the position of Non-Executive Independent Director of Melexis NV. She started her career at KU (Catholic University) Leuven in 1987 as Assistant at the Division of Applied Mathematics and Energy Conversion. Since 2006 she has been Full professor at the Faculty of Engineering Science and currently also Vice-Rector for Education Policy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at this university. Ms. Baelmans holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD degree in Engineering Sciences from KU Leuven.

Jenny Claes

Ms. Jenny Claes has served as Non-Executive Independent Director of Melexis NV since April 20, 2009. She is a Representative of Procexcel BVBA in the Company, as well as Member of the Company's Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees. She has experience in three different companies and was mainly active in the field of Logistics. This included responsibilities for commercial planning, production planning, warehousing, transport, international sales administration, ICT and quality management. She participated in the start up of the European Distribution Centre of SKF in Tongeren and held the position of General Manager of SKF Logistics Services Belgium from the end of 2003 till the end of 2008. Ms. Claes held the position of Manager Quality and Business Excellence of SKF Logistics Services worldwide. Ms. Claes holds a Masters degree in International Trade.
