Name Description

Helio Costa

Mr. Helio Costa serves as Chairman of the Board at Petro Rio S.A. since March 19, 2014. He was Minister of Communications of Brasil and Senator. Mr. Costa has been in journalism business for about 55 years and is an expert in the areas of broadcasting and communications. Went to the United States in 1967, to work as a translator and journalist at the international radio The Voice of America, in Washington. His last position with the US government was "communication specialist". He was Foreign Correspondent at Catholic University in Washington and was a lecturer in communications at Pace University at the invitation of Professor Jordan Young. In 1972 he was hired as a foreign correspondent and later Chief of The New York News Bureau of Globo Televison Network the fourth largest TV network in the world. He lived in London and Paris during the deployment of Bureaus of Globo TV Network in Europe. As a journalist he has received several awards including the League of Women’s Voters of New York and The World Press Association. In Brazil was elected four consecutive years as the best communicator on TV and Radio. In 1986 he returned to Brazil to run for Congress. In 1998 he was reelected. In 2002 he was elected a Federal Senator in the State of Minas Gerais. In 2005 the president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, invited him to be the Country’s Ministry of Communications. He implanted broadband Internet in all public schools. After observing a period of one year quarantine required for those leaving the government Mr. Costa works with a consulting company, Thelson Communication and Consulting, based in Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil. He studied Arts and Sciences at the University of Maryland.

Blener Braga Cardoso Mayhew

Mr. Blener Braga Cardoso Mayhew serves as Chief Financial Officer, Director of Investor Relations, Director of New Business of Petro Rio S.A. Works for PetroRio since December, 2014 and was an active member in its restructuring process. Previously, he worked at Docas Investimentos as Mergers and Acquisitions co-head and at Banco Espirito Santo, in the United States, at the Treasury & Special Projects area. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from Florida International University.

Roberto Bernardes Monteiro

Mr. Roberto Bernardes Monteiro serves as Chief Operating Officer of Petro Rio S.A. since August 5, 2015. Before taking the Operations Officer position at PetroRio, he was Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations in OGX Petroleo e Gas. Also served as Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations in OSX, a company engaged in shipbuilding and offshore industry. Previously, he occupied several positions in America Latina Logística - ALL, among them Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director - Argentina. He holds a degree in civil engineering from the Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP) and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.

Haroldo Borges Rodrigues Lima

Mr. Haroldo Borges Rodrigues Lima serves as Independent Director at Petro Rio S.A. since March 19, 2014. He was an Engineer at General Electric and after the Electricity Company of Bahia, Coelba, where he was Head of the Division of Operation and Maintenance. He was elected federal deputy for Bahia, serving five consecutive terms. In 1985, he became PCdoB Leader of the House of Representatives, a post he held for eleven years nonconsecutive. In 2003 he was appointed by President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva for a Board of the National Petroleum Agency. He took the ANP Board in 2003 and the Directorate General in 2005, and reappointed in 2007. He was Director of ANP for eight years. Published books and several studies related to the activities exercised, including the "Oil in Brazil" work. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the Universidade Federal da Bahia, in 1963.

Ronaldo Carvalho da Silva

Mr. Ronaldo Carvalho da Silva serves as Independent Director at Petro Rio S.A. since March 19, 2014. He as 35 years of career, having worked as a member of the Board of Health VIGESA SA and Industries Verolme-Ishibras SA - IVI, as well as Chief Financial and Investor Relations Docas Investimentos SA. Mr. Grossi was a member of the Board and Director of O Dia Newspaper from 1996 to 1999; Member of the Board and Director of Jornal do Commercio newspaper from 1999 to 2001; Member of the Board of Centrais Elétricas S/A (FURNAS), from 1995 to 2002; Member of the Board of Banco Liberal, from 1998 to 2006; Member of the Council of National Library - Rio de Janeiro, from 1992 to 1994; Member of LIGHT Council, from 1992 to 1994; Member of Ari Frauzino Foundation, from 2000 to 2004. He is member of the Board and Officer of the Jornal do Brasil since 2001; Member of the Board of Banco da Providencia - Archdiocese of Rio de Janeiro; Member of Programming Advisory Committee of the Theatro Municipal of Rio de Janeiro; Member of the Council for the Care of Minors of the Archdiocese of Rio de Janeiro and Member of the Board of Directors of Transmissora Aliança de Energia Elétrica S.A (TAESA). He received many awards and decorations. He holds Bachelors Degree in Law by University of the State of Guanabara.
