Name Description

Maurizio Rota

Mr. Maurizio Rota serves as Chairman of the Board of ESPRINET S.P.A. since May 4, 2018. He was Vice Chairman of the Board of Esprinet S.p.A. from 2012 to May 4, 2018. In 1986, after his early professional experiences as Sales Supervisor for companies operating in the information technology industry, he founded Micromax, serving as the company’s Chairman. Following the formation of Celomax, for which Mr. Maurizio Rota was one of the main Sponsors, he served as Managing Director and later as Vice Chairman.

Alessandro Cattani

Mr. Alessandro Cattani serves as Chief Executive Office at Esprinet S.p.A. November 2001. He began his professional career at Scriba SpA where, until 1990, he served as Management Assistant, as well as Executive Director of the company that managed the group’s information technology. From 1990 to 2000, Mr. Cattani worked on the development of management consulting projects. He graduated in Electronics Engineering from Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan and completed a Course in Economics and Business Administration (CEGA) gaining a Master of Management degree from the SDA BOCCONI University.

Mr. Matteo Stefanelli serves as Director of ESPRINET S.P.A. since April 30, 2015. In 2005, he was awarded a research doctorate in the history and forms of representation and consumption of the media by the Department of Communication Sciences and Performing Arts at the Università Cattolica di Milano. He is Visiting Professor of Audiovisual Languages at the Università Cattolica di Milano (Faculty of Political Sciences, COMeS degree course), where he carries out media research and consultancy work at OssCom, the Media Research Centre. A researcher and entrepreneur, he analyses consumption processes, with a particular focus on visual communication, and the social uses of technologies and product innovation in the areas of management software and online publishing. He does consultancy work and training on communication subjects and is involved in various cultural organisation projects. He has given demonstrations, presentations on TV programmes and been involved in editorial projects, including reviews and book series. He has published essays on media analysis in scientific volumes and reviews in Italy and abroad and has made numerous journalistic contributions. He is current Chairman of the Board of Directors of S4GV SA, a Swiss provider of software solutions for supply chain visibility, Chairman of Fumettolab S.r.l., which produces information and content for editorial and illustration purposes, and Vice-Chairman of the Edu Foundation, which is active in international cooperation in Africa.

Tommaso Stefanelli

Mr. Tommaso Stefanelli serves as Director of ESPRINET S.P.A. since April 30, 2015. In 2012 he achieved his specialization in internal medicine at the IRCCS Ca 'Granda Hospital Maggiore Policlinico Foundation and joined a large multinational pharmaceutical group where he deals with biomedical research into innovative molecules in the field of blood cancers at national and international level. Alongside his medical career, he has varied experience as an entrepreneur in the area of IT and new healthcare technologies. He has published full scientific papers in peer-to-peer journals on topics relating to biomedical research in the field of immunology and internal medicine. He is currently a member of the Board at SmartRes S.p.A., an Italian company that produces HF, NFC and UHF passive RFID tags using proprietary technology.

Cristina Galbusera

Ms. Cristina Galbusera serves as Independent Director of Esprinet S.p.A. since January 28, 2013. She is also Member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee since January 28, 2013. She began her working experience in the company Galbusera SpA in Cosio Valellino, where she is a member of the Board of Directors. Chiara Mauri

Ms. Chiara Mauri serves as Independent Director of Esprinet S.p.A. since May 9, 2012. She is also Member of the Audit and Risk Committee, appointed on January 28, 2013. She is a Professor of Business Economics and Management at Università della Valle d’Aosta. She is a Visiting Professor at the Università Bocconi di Milano and Senior Lecturer at the SDA Bocconi School of Management. She is the head of the "Retailing Observatory", a centre that researches international trends in retail. She was Director of the Marketing and E-Commerce Master until 2005, Executive Director of the Executive Master in Marketing & Sales between 2006 and 2011 and director of the Master of Management in Food & Beverage from 2012 to 2016. During her career, she has coordinated several consulting projects on commission for local authorities and leading industrial and commercial companies (including Illy, Allianz, Banca Woolwich, Fiera Milano, Valle d'Aosta regional authority, OMET Spa, and Eusider Spa). She has written numerous scientific publications. Her areas of interest and research include retailing, multi-channel customer management, brand management, place branding and kid's marketing. She is currently a member of the Board at Colorificio San Marco S.p.A. (industrial paints division) and Ambrosoli S.p.A. (confectionary sector).

Emanuela Prandelli

Ms. Emanuela Prandelli serves as Independent Director of ESPRINET S.P.A. since April 30, 2015. ESPRINET S.P.A. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Technology at the Università Bocconi, Academic Director of the CEMS-MIM Master's programme in International Management and representative of the affiliates of CRIOS (Centre for Research on Innovation, Organization and Strategy). She is also Senior Professor for the Marketing Area of the SDA Bocconi School of Management, where she teaches Innovation Management, Marketing Management and Technology Management and from where she has directly activated and coordinated on commission many programmes relating to e-business, innovation and marketing management for numerous industrial and services groups, including IBM, Philips, Tim and Vodafone. She was a Research Assistant at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University (1998-1999), where she returned as a Visiting Professor in 2001, a Research Fellow at the Management Department of St. Gallen University in 1997, and Visiting Professor at WU, Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (Vienna University of Economics and Business) in 2013. She has won a number of academic prizes, including the Prize for Research Excellence awarded by the Università Bocconi (2014) and the "Innovation Excellence - 2011 Award" - Bespoke Management Training for Companies Division (2012). Her areas of scientific and research interest are wide-ranging, spanning web marketing and electronic commerce, the impact of digital technologies on innovation processes, social media marketing, customer loyalty, strategic management and communication and marketing management.
