Rodrigo Costa

Mr. Rodrigo Costa serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and of the Executive Committee, Chief Executive Officer at REN - REDES ENERGETICAS NACIONAIS, SGPS, S.A. since 2014. From 2014 he is Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Unicre, Non-executive director of NOS SGPS. In December 2014, he resigned from positions held at Unicre and was appointed as REN non-executive director and selected for the position of Chief Executive Officer, effective as of February 2015. From September 2007 to September 2013 he was Chief Executive Officer at ZON Multimédia - ZON Group, 2006-2007 Director and Executive Vice-President of the Portugal Telecom Group, Chief Executive Officer of PTC – wireline operations Portugal Telecom, 1990-2005 Manager at Microsoft Corporation, carrying out different duties over a period of 15 years: founder and General Director of Microsoft Portugal, General Manager of Microsoft Brazil and, from 2001 to 2005, Corporate Vice-President of Microsoft at the main Seattle office. From 1979 to 1990 he participated in the setting up of several technology and retail companies and was a technological consultant at national and international companies. In 2006, he was awarded with the title of Grand Officer of the Order of Infante D. Henrique by the President of the Portuguese Republic, Member of the General Council of the Universidade de Coimbra – 2009-2012. From 2015, he is Member of the General Council of the Porto Business School.

Guangchao Zhu

Mr. Guangchao Zhu has served as the Vice-Chairman at Ren Redes Energeticas Nacionais SGPS SA since March 27, 2012. He is Chairman and CEO of the Board of Directors of State Grid International Development Limited; Chairman of Board of State Grid Brazil Holding S.A. From December 2005 to December 2007, he was Vice-Director General of Finance Department of State Grid Corporation of China. Goncalo Joao Figueira Morais Soares

Mr. Goncalo Joao Figueira Morais Soares serves as Chief Financial Officer, Investor Relations Officer and an Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Ren Redes Energeticas Nacionais SGPS SA since March 28, 2012. Prior to his appointment, he acted as Chief Financial Officer, and an Executive Member of the Board of Directors of the Company. Between 2007 and 2012, he was an Executive Board Member of ZON TV Cabo and of ZON Lusomundo Audiovisuais, as well as Head of Planning, Control and Corporate Finance of ZON Multimedia SGPS. From 2003 to 2007, he exercised functions as Head of Planning and Control PT Comunicacoes. Between 2000 and 2003, he was Chief Financial Officer of Jazztel in Portugal. From 1996 to 2000, he was Vice - President of Santander Investment in the Corporate Finance area. He gained a degree in Economics from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, obtained a Masters of Business Administration from Georgetown University and attended an AMP (Advanced Management Program) at Kellog Business School (Chicago) and Universidade Catolica Portuguesa (Lisboa).

Joao Caetano Carreira Faria Conceicao

Mr. Joao Caetano Carreira Faria Conceicao serves as an Executive Director of Ren Redes Energeticas Nacionais SGPS SA since May 13, 2009. He is a Member of the Executive Committee of the Company. He started his career in JPMorgan, Brussels. From 2000 to 2007, he was Consultant in the Boston Consulting Group. He worked for the Portuguese Ministry of Economics and Innovation. He graduated in Aerospace Engineering from the Universidade Tecnica de Lisboa, with an extension from von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Brussels. He also gained a Masters of Business Administration from INSEAD in 2005.

Marta Afonso

Ms. Marta Almeida Afonso serves as Head of Legal and Company’s Secretary at REN - REDES ENERGETICAS NACIONAIS, SGPS, S.A. since 2015. She has 14 years of law practice concentrated on banking, projects, private M&A, general finance, privatizations and capital markets. Sectors where particular experience has been obtained include financial institutions, energy, transport, infrastructure and health. From August 1988 to March 1998: Various Positions in Petroleum Development Oman. 2015 to Date: Member of the Board of Oman Broad Band Company, 2014 to Date: Member of the Board of Gulf Cooperative Council Interconnection Authority, 2014 to Date: Chairman of the Board of Dhofar Generation Company, 2012 to 2014: Member of the Board of Dhofar Power Company, 2011 to 2014 Chairman of the Board of Mazoon Electricity Company, 2010 to 2013: Member of the Board of the Public Authority for Electricity and Water, 2005 to 2011: Chairman of the Board of Ghubra Power and Desalination Company. He obtained B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) - United Kingdom of Great Britain.

Mengrong Cheng

Ms. Mengrong Cheng serves as a Director of Ren Redes Energeticas Nacionais SGPS SA since March 27, 2012. From 2006 to 2011, she acted as a Deputy General at the Department of International Cooperation, State Grid Corporation of China. She is a Member of IEC MSB Chinese Committee; Co-Head of the Department of International Cooperation, and a Member of the Overseas Investment Management Committee, State Grid Corporation of China. She graduated in English Literature from the Beijing International Studies University and gained a Masters in Business Management from Tsinghua University.

Jorge Magalhaes Correia

Mr. Jorge Magalhaes Correia serves as Director at REN - REDES ENERGETICAS NACIONAIS, SGPS, S.A. since 2015. He is Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Fidelidade, Multicare and Cares insurance companies and chairman of the Universal Seguros (Angola) board of directors. Chairman of the Luz Saúde SGPS board of directors. With regard to professionally related associations he is vice-president of the Portuguese Insurers Association and a member of the Geneva Association. Jose Luis Fazenda Arnaut Duarte

Mr. Jose Luis Fazenda Arnaut Duarte serves as a Non-Executive Independent Director of Ren Redes Energeticas Nacionais SGPS SA since June 22, 2012. Between 2005 and 2007 he was President of the Independent European Sports Review, appointed by the English Presidency of the European Union. Between 1997 and 2005, he was a Member of the Political Bureau of the EPP (European People's Party). He was a Director of the Francisco Sa Carneiro Institute for the Development of Democracy between 1996-1998 and 2005-2008. He is a Member of the AON Advisory Board; member of the BOGARIS SA Portuguese Consultancy Board; a member of the MOP SA Board of Directors; Chairman of the LIDE Law and Justice Sub-committee and since December 2011, President of the General Assembly of the Portuguese Football Federation. He gained a degree in Law from Universidades Lusiada and in 1999 was awarded the DESS (Diploma of Higher Specialized Studies) from the Robert Schuman University, in Strasbourg. He has specialized as a Lawyer working mainly in Intellectual Property Law, with special focus on Patent Law, Trade Marks, Dominium Names, New Technologies and Competition Law. Since 1992, he has been a European Patent Attorney at the European Patent Office (Munich) and since 1996, European Trade Mark Attorney at the European Union Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (Alicante) and Official Industrial Property Agent at the INPI – National Industrial Property Institute.

Manuel Sebastiao

Mr. Manuel Sebastiao serves as Non-Executive Independent Director at REN - REDES ENERGETICAS NACIONAIS, SGPS, S.A. since 2015. Previously, he was a consultant for Banco de Portugal (September 2013 - April 2015), Chairman of the Board of the Competition Authority (March 2008 - September 2013), Director of Banco de Portugal (February 2000 - March 2008), institution where he held positions of economist Between 1986 and 1988. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Insurance Institute of Portugal from 1998 to 2000, Director of the Banco de Fomento e Exterior from 1992 to 1996 and economist of the International Monetary Fund from 1988 to 1992. He graduated in Economics from Universidade Tecnica de Lisboa in 1973 and completed his doctoral degree in Economic Planning from the University of Paris in 1978 and a doctorate in economics (Ph.D.) from Columbia University in New York in 1986. He has been professor of economics in several Universities throughout their careers.
