Name Description

Samuel Cooperman

Mr. Samuel Cooperman has served as Independent Chairman of the Board of Directors of Stolt Nielsen Ltd since April 21, 2016. He has been Independent Director of the Company since 2008. He is Chairman of the Audit Committee and Member of the Compensation Committee of the Company. Mr. Cooperman joined Stolt Nielsen in 1974 and held a number of senior management positions, including Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Stolt-Nielsen Transportation Group. He retired in 2003. Mr. Cooperman is Chairman of New York Cruise Line and Chief Executive Officer of Cooperman Weiss Consulting LLC. He also serves as Director on the Board of National Principals Leadership Institute. Previously, he was Member of the Executive Committee of the International Chamber of Shipping until May 2010 and served as the Committee’s Vice Chairman for two years. Mr. Cooperman holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and from the Graduate School at the University of Pennsylvania, respectively, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Temple University.

Niels Stolt-Nielsen

Mr. Niels G. Stolt-Nielsen has served as Chief Executive Officer of Stolt Nielsen Ltd since 2000 and as Member of the Company’s Board of Directors since 1996. He joined the Company in 1990, in Greenwich, Connecticut, working first as a shipbroker, and then as Round Voyage Manager. He served in the Company's subsidiaries, as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Stolt Offshore S.A. (SOSA) from September 2002 until March 2003, and as President of Stolt Sea Farm from 1996 until September 2001. In 1994, he opened and organized the Company's representative office in Shanghai. He serves as Chairman of Avance Gas Holding Ltd and as Director of Golar LNG Limited. Mr. Stolt-Nielsen graduated from Hofstra University in 1990, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Finance.

Jan Engelhardtsen

Mr. Jan Chr. Engelhardtsen has served as Chief Financial Officer of Stolt Nielsen Ltd since 1991. Formerly, he served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of Stolt Offshore S.A. from September 2002 until March 2003, and as President and General Manager of Stolt-Nielsen Singapore Pte. Ltd. from 1988 to 1991. He has been associated with Stolt-Nielsen since 1974. Mr. Engelhardtsen holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Finance.

Anne van Dassen Muller

Ms. Anne van Dassen Muller had served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Stolt Nielsen Ltd since September 2012. She joined the Company from JohnsonDiversey, later acquired by Sealed Air Inc, where she was European HR Director. Prior to this she held a number of HR positions, including Corporate HR Director at Magasin du Nord in Denmark. Ms. van Dassen Muller holds Master’s degrees in International Business Administration and Organizational Psychology.

Peter Koenders

Mr. Peter Koenders has served as Chief Information Officer of Stolt Nielsen Ltd since April 1, 2007. He is responsible for the Company's business technology implementation activities based in Rotterdam. Prior to joining the Company, he worked in Maersk, where he was Director of Architecture, Strategy and Governance. Before that he held variety of information technology management positions within Maersk, Sealand and Asea Brown Boveri. Mr. Koenders has a Master’s degree in Information Management from Tilburg University (Universiteit van Tilburg).

Bapsy Dastur

Ms. Bapsy F. Dastur serves as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer at Stolt-Nielsen Limited. Prior to joining Stolt-Nielsen, she was the General Counsel, Head – Legal & Integrity for India, Middle East, Africa for Asea Brown Boveri (ABB). She has global experience in legal, compliance and regulatory matters for the Energy, Oil and Gas, Shipping, Logistics and the Financial services sectors including the Middle East, Africa, South & South-East Asia and Australia. Bapsy has held several positions in General Electric USA (GE) including as the Senior Regional Counsel – Africa, India & Middle East for the Infrastructure Energy business of General Electric International and General Counsel – South East Asia, Australia and India for the Structured Finance Group in GE Capital. Before joining GE in the Middle East, Bapsy was the Head - Legal, Operating Risk, Compliance and Treasury Support for the Grindlays Bank for the India Region. In addition to her diverse experience as Corporate Counsel, she practiced law for several years at a leading law firm where she specialized in mergers and acquisitions and financial services. She qualified as a Solicitor from England and Wales and holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce and Economics and also a Bachelors Degree in Law.

Guy Bessant

Mr. Guy Alexander Bessant has been President, Stolthaven Terminals at Stolt-Nielsen Limited since March 2015. He was previously Regional Director for Stolthaven in Asia Pacific since 2013. Before that he held senior management positions at Bayer MaterialScience (Covestro) and Sasol. From 1996 to 2004, he was with Stolt-Nielsen, joining the company as a shipbroker in Singapore before becoming manager of the Company’s tanker, terminal and tank container initiatives in China. He holds a BA in Modern Chinese Studies with Management from the University of Leeds (U.K.), a postgraduate diploma in International Commercial Law from Northumbria University (U.K.), and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde (U.K.).

Pablo Garcia

Mr. Pablo Garcia has served as President, Stolt Sea Farm at Stolt Nielsen Ltd since May 1, 2005. From 1995 to 2005, he was President of the Iberia region for Stolt Sea Farm, in charge of the flat fish activities (turbot, halibut and sole) in Spain, Portugal, France and Norway. He joined Stolt Sea Farm in 1995, as General Manager of the Spanish Turbot Operations. Prior to that, he worked as General Manager of the Spanish branch of the Doux Group. Mr. Garcia received a degree in Agronomic Engineering from the Universidad de Cordoba in Spain with a specialization in food processing.

Michael Kramer

Mr. Michael W. Kramer has served as President, Stolt Tank Containers (STC) at Stolt Nielsen Ltd since January 2000. He was previously Managing Director of STC, and before that, General Manager of North and South America at STC. He joined STC in 1982, and subsequently held various positions, including Business Development Manager in Japan, Business Development Manager in Singapore and STC Budgeting Director in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining STC, he was working at B.D.P. International, Inc. Mr. Kramer received his Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University.

Mark Martecchini

Mr. Mark Martecchini has been President, Stolt Tankers of Stolt-Nielsen Limited since October 1, 2015. He was previously Managing Director, Shipowning since 2008. Before that he held numerous positions during the course of his more than 30 years with Stolt-Nielsen, in the areas of technical management, chartering, logistics, marketing and strategic planning and projects. Mr. Martecchini is a 1979 graduate of Webb Institute of Naval Architecture (USA) and holds an MBA from New York University (USA). He serves on the Executive Committee of the International Chamber of Shipping and as a Director of the International Tanker Owners Pollution Federation.

Andrew Pickering

Mr. Andrew W. Pickering serves as President, Stolt-Nielsen Gas within Stolt-Nielsen Limited. Andrew Pickering has been with the Stolt-Nielsen Group of companies since 1981. He is currently President of Stolt-Nielsen LNG Holding Ltd. Prior to this position he was Managing Director Asia Pacific for Stolt-Nielsen Ltd for 14 years responsible for all business activities in APAC for Stolt-Nielsen’s Storage, Tanker and Container related businesses. Prior to this Mr. Pickering was Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Stolt Tanker Trading from 1996-2000, responsible for all commercial and operational activities for the Stolt-Nielsen’s global shipping business. He has global trading, shipping and logistics knowledge. He graduated from University of Colorado with a BA in Environmental Studies and is currently undertaking a Master's degree in Environmental Management with University of London.

Jacob Stolt-Nielsen

Mr. Jacob B. Stolt-Nielsen has served as Director of Stolt-Nielsen Limited since 1995. He served as an Executive Vice President of Stolt-Nielsen Limited from 2003 to 2004. In 2000, he founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of SeaSupplier Ltd. until 2003. From 1992 until 2000 he held the position of President, Stolthaven Terminals, with responsibility for the global tank storage business. He joined the Company in 1987 and served in various positions in Oslo, Singapore, Greenwich, Connecticut, Houston, Texas and London. He is CEO and Founder of Norterminal AS and serves as member of the boards of the following companies: Beta AS, Timms AS, Bothel Holdings AS, New York Cruise Lines, Inc., Biomed Clinic AS and Norterminal AS. Mr. Stolt-Nielsen graduated from Babson College in 1987 with a BS degree in Finance and Entrepreneurial studies.

Tor Troim

Mr. Tor Olav Troim has been Director of Stolt-Nielsen LIMITED since April 21, 2016. He has served as a Director and Vice Chairman of Golar LNG Limited since the company was established in May 2001. In the first years of operation, Tor was also the Company's CEO. Tor is Chairman of Golar LNG Partners and has held this position since the company was listed in 2009. He is currently partner in Magni Partners UK. Between 1995 and 2014, Tor was employed by Seatankers Management Co., and served as Chairman and a Director of Seadrill Limited between 2005 and 2014. From 1995 to 2014, he was, at various times, CEO of a number of related public companies, including Frontline Limited, Knightsbridge Tankers, Ship Finance Ltd. and Seadrill Ltd. He has served as a director on the Boards of Frontline, Marine Harvest ASA, Golden Ocean Group Limited, Archer Limited and Aktiv Kapital ASA, among others. Prior to 1995, he was an equity portfolio manager with Storebrand ASA and Chief Executive Officer for the Norwegian Oil Company DNO AS. Tor graduated as M.Sc. Naval Architect from the University of Trondheim, Norway in 1985.

Rolf Habben Jansen

Mr. Rolf Habben Jansen has been Independent Director of Stolt-Nielsen Limited since December 17, 2015. Mr. Habben Jansen has served as Chief Executive Officer of Hapag-Lloyd AG since July 2014, after having been appointed a member of the Hapag-Lloyd AG Executive Board in April 2014. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of Damco, the global logistics firm, since 2009. Before that he was Head of Global Customer Solutions at DHL since 2006. He began his career at Royal Nedlloyd, the former Dutch shipping company, before joining Danzas, the Swiss logistics firm, which merged with DHL in 1999. Mr. Habben Jansen graduated from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam in 1991 with a degree in Economics.

Lars Larsson

Mr. Hakan Larsson has been Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Stolt Nielsen Ltd since June 2007. He also serves as Member of the Audit Committee of the Company. Mr. Larsson is a former Chief Executive Officer of Rederi AB Transatlantic (2003-2007). He chairs the Boards of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics AS, Tyrens AB, Valea AB and Inpension Asset Management AB, and serves as Director of Semcon AB, EUKOR Car Carriers Inc and Handelsbanken. Mr. Larsson holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Gothenburg School of Economics at Goteborgs Universitet.
