Name Description

Lars Idermark

Mr. Lars Idermark has served as Independent Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swedbank AB since April 5, 2016. Previously, he was Independent Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Company from March 20, 2013 until April 5, 2016. He is also Chairman of the Company’s Remuneration Committee and Member of the Risk and Capital Committee at the Company. He joined Swedbank’s Board as Chairman on March 26, 2010. Mr. Idermark has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Sodra Skogsagarna AB. In the past, he was President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PostNord AB, President and CEO of KF/Coop, President of Second Swedish National Pension Fund, Deputy President and CEO of Capio AB, Executive Vice President and Deputy President and CEO of ForeningsSparbanken (Swedbank), Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Foreningsbanken AB, and President and Chief Executive Officer of LRF Holding AB. Mr. Idermark holds Master of Business Administration degree.

Birgitte Bonnesen

Ms. Birgitte Bonnesen has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Swedbank AB since April 22, 2016. She was Acting President and Chief Executive Officer at the Company from February 9, 2016 until April 22, 2016 and Head of Swedish Banking at the Company from January 1, 2015. She served as Head of Baltic Banking at the Company from August 10, 2011 until January 1, 2015. Prior to that, she was Head of Internal Audit within the Company from 2009. She joined Swedbank in 1987, and has since held such roles as Head of Global Financial Institutions and Trade Finance (2008-2009), Head of CRM Division at Swedbank Markets (2004-2008) and various senior positions within International Banking Division (2001-2004). Ulrika Francke

Ms. Ulrika Francke has been Independent Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swedbank AB since April 5, 2016. Previously she was Independent Member of the Board of Directors at the Company from 2009 until April 5, 2016. She is Member of the Audit, Remuneration, Risk and Capital Committees of the Company. She previously served as Independent Vice Chairman of the Board of (2006-2009), and prior to that, Second Deputy Chairman (2003-2006) as well as Director (2002-2003). Ms. Francke was President and Chief Executive Officer of Tyrens AB. Anders Karlsson

Mr. Anders Karlsson has been Group Financial Officer (CFO) of Swedbank AB since June 10, 2016. Before that, he was Group Chief Risk Officer from September 1, 2013. He was previously Head of Risk at Swedbank Treasury and at Large Corporates & Institutions (2013). He has been employed at the Company since 2010 and earlier between 1999 and 2008. Anders Ekedahl

Mr. Anders Ekedahl has been Head of Group IT at Swedbank AB since January 1, 2014. He previously was Head of Group Business Control at Swedbank (2013). He has worked at Swedbank since 1987 and has experience in many different business areas of the Bank.
