Name Description

Jordan Levy

Mr. Jordan A. Levy is Independent Chairman of the Board of Synacor Inc. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since October 2001 and has served as Chairman of the Board since October 2007. He has been a general partner at Softbank Capital since June 2005. In October 1999, he co-founded Seed Capital Partners LLC and was a managing partner there until May 2005. In July 2007, he was appointed Chairman of the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation. From 2004 through 2009 he served on the board of directors of Lorex Technology Inc., a publicly-held company. Mr. Levy holds a B.A. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Himesh Bhise

Mr. Himesh Bhise is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company. Bhise most recently led New Services & Platforms for Comcast Cable, where he was responsible for incubating and operating growth businesses. His portfolio included new content platforms like XFINITY Streampix, advertising businesses, cloud products, prepaid services and apps, all transforming the consumer TV and video experience. Bhise is known as a results-oriented business builder with deep operating experience. He has managed complex businesses, working across multiple functions and geographies to build distinctive products and deliver superior operating results. His unique background as an experienced management consultant and company executive has led him to develop a broad perspective and take leadership roles in M&A, product development, sales and marketing. Before Comcast, Bhise was a senior operating executive at Charter Communications, where he was the general manager of its High Speed Internet business, which he helped grow to $1.4 billion, outperforming the industry in revenue growth. Prior to Charter, Bhise served as general manager of AOL's Mobile division, growing the business substantially working with carriers, OEMs and developers around the world. Earlier, he was with McKinsey & Company as a leader in its telecom and M&A practice. Mr. Bhise received an undergraduate degree from Bombay University, a Master of Economics from Temple University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

William Stuart

Mr. William (Bill) J. Stuart is Chief Financial Officer of Synacor Inc. From 2006 to 2011, he served as Senior Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary for Avici Systems, Inc. (now Soapstone Networks, Inc.), or Soapstone. He also served as Soapstone’s President and on Soapstone’s board of directors from 2009 to 2011. From 2001 to 2006, he was a partner at Still River Fund, a Boston-based venture capital firm. He has previously served as chief financial officer of the publicly-held Telco Systems (acquired by World Access, Inc.) as well as three privately-held technology companies. Mr. Stuart has a B.A. from Boston College and an M.B.A. from Northeastern University.

George Chamoun

Mr. George G. Chamoun is President - Sales & Marketing, Director of Synacor Inc. He has been vital to Synacor's success since its inception in 1998, helping transform the company from a privately-held start-up to a publicly-traded technology, services and revenue partner of leading cable, satellite, telecom and consumer electronics companies. As Synacor's president, Sales & Marketing, Chamoun has been instrumental in creating a company that has innovated advanced, new technologies and services for over 17 years, and continues to deliver next-generation products to the most respected names in broadband and their consumers. Chamoun has been recognized for his accomplishments throughout the cable and telecommunications industry, most notably in 2009 when Multichannel News named him one of the publication's "40-under-40" most influential innovators in the industry, as well as when he was recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership by Ernst & Young as "Entrepreneur of the Year." Chamoun has presented on entrepreneurship, business and technology at conferences, expos and seminars across the country, and participates on advisory boards for tech incubator Z80 Labs and the 43North International Business Plan Competition. Chamoun holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB).

Timothy Schermerhorn

Mr. Timothy Schermerhorn has been appointed as Senior Vice President - Service Provider Sales and Marketing of the Company. He will be responsible for all aspects of Synacor's revenue efforts in the service provider market. Throughout his career, Schermerhorn has driven revenue growth, technology business development, and strategic partner management in pay TV, high-speed data, access technology, software and professional services. He joins from Ericsson, where he was Vice President and General Manager, Broadband and Media Accounts. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at Intel, ADB, and Motorola.

Michael Bishara

Mr. Michael Bishara serves as Senior Vice President of Product & General Manager of TV Everywhere of Synacor Inc. Prior to his current position, he was Senior Vice President, HBO Broadband /Digital Group where he was responsible for the overall strategy, development and rollout of broadband products, including HBO GO. Before HBO, he held marketing and product leadership roles at industry giants Time Inc. and AT&T.

Steve Davi

Mr. Steve Davi serves as Senior Vice President - Software Engineering of Synacor Inc. He brings engineering experience to Synacor, with specialization in digital media, HTML5, over-the-top, mobile, and advertising monetization models. Previously, he held positions at SeaChange, where his role was chief technology officer with responsibility for overall software technology architecture and company strategy related to product design, system planning and industry standards. Prior to SeaChange International, he worked at Banyan Systems and Data General in software engineering leadership and contributor roles. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MS in Computer Science from Northeastern University.

Anand Subramanian

Mr. Anand Subramanian is Senior Vice President - Strategic Operations of Synacor, Inc. Anand Subramanian is the former CEO of NimbleTV, who joined Synacor through the acquisition earlier this year. At NimbleTV, Subramanian helped to innovate around efficient video streaming and CDN solutions. He was formerly CEO of ContextWeb, providing real-time online ad performance data for businesses and brands, and has an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology. Subramanian will be taking a broader role at Synacor, leading strategic operations and finding areas for efficiency and effectiveness leveraging his video delivery, advertising and data analytics expertise.

David Ho

Mr. David Ho is Vice President - Professional Services of Synacor, Inc. David Ho served most recently as VP of Engineering for Synchronoss Technologies, where he had oversight of the engineering teams designing, building, delivering and supporting a portfolio of Commerce and Care solutions to top telecom and MSO clients around the world. Prior to that, Ho led professional service organizations at Nuance Communications and Comverse Network Systems. He holds a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University. Ho will be leading the Professional Services team at Synacor, responding to the growing customization and integration needs of our customers with solution delivery and project management discipline.

Steve Oroszlan

Mr. Steve Oroszlan is Vice President - Business Development of the Company. Prior to Synacor, Oroszlan served as Director of Business Development for Microsoft Corporation, where he was responsible for generating digital advertising revenue from syndication, licensing and technology partnerships. Oroszlan holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from London Business School in the UK.

Singu Srinivas

Mr. Singu Srinivas is General Manager - Strategic Accounts of Synacor, Inc. Singu Srinivas has been an advisor to Fortune 500 and high growth technology companies as a management consultant, senior executive and founder. His expertise spans managed services and software-as-a-service businesses in the communications, electronics and software industries. He joins Synacor from management consulting firm, Waterstone Management Group, where he was a partner. Prior to that, Srinivas was a general manager at Radialpoint, and a management consultant with IBM Global Services, Deloitte Consulting and Accenture. He has an MBA from the Wharton School and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. Srinivas will lead Strategic Accounts at Synacor, helping to deepen relationships and grow revenues with key customers.

Lisa Donohue

Ms. Lisa Donohue is Director of the company. She joined Starcom in 1987 and has played an instrumental role in growing the company into one of the most successful global media agencies with $26 billion in media billings worldwide. Previously the CEO of Starcom USA, Donohue guided teams to overcome challenges on behalf of the world's leading marketers and new establishment brands, including Airbnb, Samsung, Procter & Gamble, Bank of America, Kellogg's, Kraft Heinz, and Visa.

M. Scott Murphy

M. Scott Murphy has been appointed as Director of Synacor, Inc., Effective October 28, 2014, Mr. Murphy is the managing director and Chief Investment Officer of Advantage Capital Partners ("Advantage Capital"), which provides equity and debt capital, along with strategic and operational counsel, to businesses that have the potential for both superior investment returns and meaningful community impact. Mr. Murphy rejoined Advantage Capital in 2012 after serving in the United States Congress representing New York from 2009 to 2011. Mr. Murphy previously worked at Advantage Capital from 2001 to 2009, overseeing the New York portfolio. Mr. Murphy received his A.B. magna cum laude from Harvard University. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a former President of the Upstate Venture Association of New York.

Marwan Fawaz

Mr. Marwan Fawaz is Independent Director of Synacor Inc. Since June 2011, Mr. Fawaz has served as Principal at Fawaz Consulting Services. In addition, from June 2012 to May 2013, Mr. Fawaz served as an Executive Vice President at Motorola Mobility LLC with responsibility for the Motorola Home Division. From August 2006 through March 2011, Mr. Fawaz was an Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Charter, and served as an executive officer of Charter during the pendency of its Chapter 11 cases in 2009. From March 2003 until July 2006, Mr. Fawaz served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer for Adelphia Communications Corporation, or Adelphia. Adelphia filed a petition under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in June 2002. From April 2002 to March 2003, he served as Investment Specialist/Technology Analyst for Vulcan, Inc. Mr. Fawaz served as Regional Vice President of Operations for the Northwest Region for Charter from July 2001 to March 2002. From July 2000 to December 2000, he served as Chief Technology Officer for Infinity Broadband. He served as Vice President—Engineering and Operations at MediaOne, Inc. from January 1996 to June 2000. Mr. Fawaz received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and a M.S. in telecom engineering from California State University—Long Beach.

Gary Ginsberg

Mr. Gary L. Ginsberg is Independent Director of Synacor Inc. He has been the Executive Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Communications at Time Warner Inc. since February 2010. From 1999 through late 2009, Mr. Ginsberg served as the Executive Vice President in various capacities at News Corporation. He has also been a managing director at the strategic consulting firm Clark & Weinstock, a senior editor and counsel at George, the magazine, a former Assistant Counsel to President Clinton, and an attorney with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Mr. Ginsberg holds an A.B. from Brown University and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law. He is a member of the boards of directors of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, the Newseum, New Visions for Public Schools and New York Cares. In the past five years, he has served on the boards of directors of Vringo, Inc. and Audible, Inc. and on the audit committee of Audible, Inc.

Andrew Kau

Mr. Andrew Kau is Independent Director of Synacor Inc. He has been a member of our Board of Directors since December 2000. Prior to that period, Mr. Kau served as a director of MyPersonal.com, Inc., one of our predecessor companies, from September 1999 until its acquisition by Chek, Inc. to form Synacor. Mr. Kau has been a managing director at Walden International since 1994. From 1992 to 1994, Mr. Kau was President of Chemical Technologies Ventures. Mr. Kau was a management consultant at Strategic Planning Associates, LLC from 1991 to 1992 and at Booz, Allen and Hamilton Inc. from 1985 to 1987. From 1983 to 1985, Mr. Kau was a research scientist at Systems Planning Corporation. Mr. Kau holds a Sc.B. in Electrical Engineering from Brown University and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia.

Michael Montgomery

Mr. Michael J. Montgomery is Independent Director of Synacor Inc. Mr. Montgomery served as president of Montgomery & Co., a media and technology investment bank, through June of 2013, where he also led the media practice. Prior to joining the predecessor company to Montgomery & Co. in 1999, Mr. Montgomery was the chief executive officer at Sega GameWorks, a joint venture between Sega, Universal Studios and DreamWorks Studios. Before that, Mr. Montgomery was a senior executive at DreamWorks Studios from 1995 until 1999. Before joining DreamWorks Studios, Mr. Montgomery spent approximately eight years with The Walt Disney Company and its affiliates, where he held a number of senior positions including managing director and chief financial officer of EuroDisney and treasurer of Walt Disney Company. He has previously served on the boards of directors of Corus Pharma and Pathogenesis, a public pharmaceutical company that was acquired by Chiron Corporation in 2000. Mr. Montgomery received his M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College, where he also received a B.A. degree as Rufus Choate Scholar with magna cum laude honors. Mr. Montgomery is currently a board member of and Chair of the Audit Committee for Dreamworks Animation.
