Cerchiai, Fabio 

Dr. Fabio Cerchiai has served Independent Chairman of the Board at Cerved Group S.p.A. since March 25. 2014. In his career, he served at Gruppo Generali on various posts, and served as Chairman of INA Assitalia from 2000 to 2003. He graduated in Business Economics from Universita degli Studi di Roma in 1966. He has been a member of the Italian Academy of Business Administration since 2001. He began his career in the insurance industry where he held various positions until his appointment as chief executive officer and vice chairman of Assicurazioni Generali. Mr. Cerchiai has been a member of the boards of directors of several companies in the Generali Group in Italy and abroad and the President of INA Assitalia from 2000 to 2003. Since 2005 he also serves as vice president of Diplomatia. Mr. Cerchiai was the president of ANIA - National Association of Insurance Companies from 2002 to 2011 and president of the Foundation Permanent Forum ANIA Consumers from 2007 to 2011. Mr. Cerchiai was also the president of the ANIA Foundation for Road Safety from 2004 to 2008 and Chairman of Meliorbanca from 2004 to 2009. In addition, Mr. Cerchiai acted as president and later vice president of the Federation of Banks, Insurance and Finance from 2008 to 2011. He is the general representative in the executive board of the Union of Industrialists and Business of Rome, Frosinone, Rieti, Viterbo since 2010 and member of the general council and the executive committee of the Association of Italian Joint Stock Companies, ASSONIME. Since 2011, Mr. Cerchiai is adjunct professor at the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan- Faculty of Banking, Finance and Insurance.
