Dr. Antonio Rios de Amorim serves as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer of Corticeira Amorim SGPS SA since March 31, 2001. He is also Chairman of the Company's Executive Committee and has been on the Company's Board since March 29, 1990. He acted as Deputy Member of the Board of Directors of Amorim & Irmaos, from 1996 to 2001; Member of the Board of Directors of Figueira-Praia, from 1993 to 2006; Director of Operations of Amorim-Empreendimentos Imobiliarios, from 1993 to 1995, and Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Amorim Hoteis SA. He was associated to the European Round Table of Industrialists, from 1991 to 1995. He has been President of Associacao Portuguesa da Cortica since 2002, and President of Confederation Europeenne du Liege since 2003. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Amorim Natural Cork-Florestal SA, Amorim Florestal Espana SL, Amorim & Irmaos IV SA, Amorim & Irmaos SA, Amorim & Irmaos SGPS SA, Amorim & Irmaos VI SA, Amorim Industrial Solutions-Industria de Cortica e Borracha I SA, Amorim Isolamentos SA, Amorim Cork Composites SA and Amorim-Servicos e Gestao SA; Member of the Board of Directors of Amorim Florestal-Espanha SA, Afaprom-Sociedade Agro-Florestal SA, Amorim SGPS SA, Amorim Capital SGPS SA, Amorim Desenvolvimento SGPS SA, Amorim-Investimentos e Participacoes SGPS SA, Cimorim-Sociedade Agro-Florestal SA, Corporeo-Compra e Venda de Imoveis SA, Interfamilia II SGPS SA, Resiferia-Construcoes Urbanas SA and S21 - Sociedade de Investimento Imobiliario SA, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Amorim Revestimentos SA and Luxor SGPS SA.
