Bambini, Helio 

Mr. Helio Bambini serves as Executive Vice President-Operations of EMBRAER S.A. since August 2017. He is responsible for Embraer’s operation activities, including: Final Assembly, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, IT, Logistics and Shared Services. His activities manages around 9.000 employees in 12 sites (in Brazil, North America and Europe). Bambini is also Board Member of JVs OGMA and EZ and few Embraer’s subsidiaries. Previously, he held several positions at Embraer, including Operations Planning and Strategy (2006). In 2007, he was invited to lead Embraer’s Supply Chain area (for all Business Units Commercial, Executive and Defense). In 2011, he became Senior Vice President of Industrial Operations and managed Embraer’s operations including final assembly in São José dos Campos (Faria Lima, EGM and Eleb), Botucatu, Gavião Peixoto, Taubaté, Evora (Portugal), AST (USA) and EZ Air Interior (Mexico). In 2014, Mr. Bambini was assigned as Senior Vice President and COO of Embraer Defense and Security Business Unit. He assumed Defense Programs, Supply Chain management, and the operations sites of Gavião Peixoto (Brazil) and Jacksonville (USA), and member of the board of Embraer Defense & Security subsidiaries: Atech Negócios em Tecnologia S.A., Savis Tecnologia e Sistemas S.A., Harpia Sistemas S.A., Bradar Indústria S.A. and Embraer Defense and Security Inc. (USA). Prior to joining Embraer, Mr. Bambini had a multicultural and multi-functional experiences working for national and international companies (Americans and Europeans) in high responsibility and first-line management positions. He was the CEO of Sanmina-SCI and Segerström Svensson with full P&L responsibility, both companies in the Contract Manufacturing segments. He was also Business Development Manager at Motorola and Senior Consultant at Arthur D. Little. He started his career in technical and managerial positions at GTE do Brasil, Multitel Microeletrônica and Mannesmann (Hartmann & Braun Division).
