Roux de Bezieux, Geoffroy 

Mr. Geoffroy Roux de Bezieux has been Independent Director of Parrot SA since September 14, 2006 and chairs Nominating and Remuneration Committee. He spent two years in the Special Forces (Marine Commandos), with operations in Africa and Lebanon. He then joined the L'Oreal group, where he spent 10 years in various positions in both France and abroad, notably serving as Head of Marketing in the United Kingdom and then Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Poland. In 1996, he opened up The Phone House, a fully dedicated mobile telephony store. In 2000, with a network of 100 stores, he sold The Phone House to The Carphone Warehouse, and became its Managing director (CEO). At the same time, in 2004 and still with Carphone Warehouse as the main shareholder, he set up Omer Telecom and launched Breizh Mobile, a mobile operator for the west of France. In April 2006, the project took on a national dimension through a structure in which he is still a shareholder alongside the Virgin Group and Carphone Warehouse, creating a new mobile operator in France under the Virgin Mobile brand. In 2008, he acquired Tele 2 Mobile to create Omea Telecom, where he serves as Chairman. From 2005 until 2008, he was Chairman of CroissancePlus, a business association and is a Member of the Board of France Investissement and of the Attali and Levy-Jouyet commissions. He chaired UNEDIC from 2008 until 2010 and is currently the Vice Chairman of Medef. He also founded Alternative Mobile, an association of mobile operators, which he chaired from 2007 until 2009. He is also the co-founder of the charity association, Fondation ARAOK. He currently also serves as Chairman of the Board of Oliviers & Compagnie and Member o the Supervisory Board of Peugeot SA, among others. He obtained a Masters degree in International Marketing from ESSEC Business School.
