Kvamme, E. Floyd 

Mr. E. Floyd Kvamme is no longer Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Power Integrations, Inc., effective May 17, 2019. Mr. Kvamme has served as a director of Power Integrations since September 1989 and was elected non-executive Chairman of the Board in April 2011. Mr. Kvamme has served as a director of more than 15 companies in the semiconductor, software and optical-systems markets, including: National Semiconductor Corporation, Photon Dynamics, Inc., a publicly traded provider of products and services to flat-panel display manufacturers, and a number of other publicly traded companies including TriQuint Semiconductor, Brio, Lotus, Harmonic, MiniStor and Bachman Information Systems. He currently serves on the board of Harmonic Inc., a broadband optical networking and digital video systems company. From 1984 through 2008, Mr. Kvamme was a general partner (and now serves as a partner emeritus) of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, a venture-capital company. Mr. Kvamme has over 40 years of experience in the semiconductor industry in engineering, sales and marketing and management roles. From 2001 to 2009, Mr. Kvamme was co-chairman of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, advising President George W. Bush on science and technology matters. Prior to joining Kleiner Perkins, Mr. Kvamme served as general manager of National Semiconductor’s semiconductor division from 1973 to 1979, during which time sales grew from $200 million to nearly $1 billion. He was also in charge of product planning and marketing at National Semiconductor in the formative years of the integrated circuit era, and was responsible for the company’s distribution-oriented sales force at National Semiconductor from 1971 to 1979. From 1979 to 1982 he was the president of National Advanced Systems, responsible for all activities worldwide in this computer systems subsidiary of National Semiconductor including extensive dealings with Asia-particularly Japan in which Hitachi was a major supplier.
