Brandstetter, Andreas 

Dr. Andreas Brandstetter has been Chairman of the Management Board, Chief Executive and Investment Officer of UNIQA Insurance Group AG since July 1, 2011. He is responsible for Innovation, Investor Relations, Digital Services/ Digital Data Management, Group Communication, Group Marketing, Group Human Resources, Group Internal Audit, Group Asset Management. He was Vice Chairman of the Management Board at the Company from November 24, 2009. From January 1, 2002 to November 24, 2009, he served as Member of the Management Board at UNIQA Versicherungen AG. Since 2000, Dr. Brandstetter has been active as general secretary of UNIQA Versicherungen AG. Previously, he was assistant to the general manager, and was responsible for the merger and restructuring to UNIQA Versicherungen AG in 1999. In 1995, he took over the leadership of the European Union office of the Austrian Raiffeisen union in Brussels. After graduating in Political Science and sojourns abroad in the United States and Luxemburg, Dr. Brandstetter began his career in 1993 in the cabinet of the then Vice Chancellor, Erhard Busek. Besides his function as personal secretary, he was also responsible for the areas of economics, industry and the European Union. He completed a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program at the California State University. He holds a degree in Political Science and Business Administration. He is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SIGAL UNIQA Group AUSTRIA sh.a., Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SIGAL LIFE UNIQA Group AUSTRIA sh.a. and President of the Board of Directors of UNIQA Re AG.
