Freni Brembo SpA (Brembo SpA) is an Italy-based company engaged in the research, design, production and sale of brake systems. The Company provides products for cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and racing cars and motorbikes. The Company’s portfolio includes brake discs, pads, modules, calipers, master cylinders and complete braking systems. As of December 31, 2011, the Company operated through 35 production units and commercial centers in Italy and abroad, including Spain, Poland, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, China, India, the United States, Sweden, China and Japan. The Company has a number of subsidiaries, such as AP Racing Ltd, Brembo Deutschland GmbH, Brembo Nanjing Foundry Co Ltd, Brembo North America Inc and Qingdao Brembo Trading Co Ltd, among others. In August 2013, it acquired a 30% stake in Brembo Nanjing Brake Systems Co. Ltd; as a result of transaction it holds 100% stake in Brembo Nanjing Brake Systems Co Ltd.
