The Company provides private healthcare services. Its services include emergency medical services, retail pharmacies, cancer care, primary care facilities and dialysis services. Its South African business offers private hospital and trauma services through approximately 55 owned hospitals, including private facilities forming part of public private partnerships. The Primary Care Division operates medical and dental provider services through Medicross, as well as a managed care organization that focuses on uninsured lives through Prime Cure.
