Rising wage costs in key markets France and the Netherlands and contract losses held back profit growth at Securitas <SECUb.ST> in the second quarter, offsetting price hikes at the world's biggest security services company.

Sweden's Securitas, the world's biggest security services group, reported on Monday a slightly bigger rise than forecast in first-quarter core profit and an unexpected acceleration in organic growth.
Shares in Securitas fell on Thursday after the group said it would invest heavily in coming years and reported slower-than-expected organic sales growth for the fourth quarter.
Sweden's Securitas said on Friday it had grown strongly in all its markets as the world's biggest security services firm beat third-quarter core earnings forecasts.
Swedish security firm Securitas <SECUb.ST> reported core earnings just below market expectations on Wednesday and said it had balanced wage cost increases with price increases in the quarter.
