About US Xpress Enterprises Inc

U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. is a truckload carrier in the United States. Its primary business is offering a range of truckload services to customers throughout the United States and in portions of Canada and Mexico. It also offers transportation, warehousing, and distribution services to the floorcovering industry. During the year ended December 31, 2006, the truckload operations contributed approximately 94% of the Company’s total operating revenue and Xpress Global Systems operations contributed approximately 6% of it revenue. On February 28, 2006, the Company increased its ownership interest in both Arnold and the Total Companies to 80%. In August 2006, the Company acquired a 49% interest in Abilene Motor Express, Inc. (Abilene).
