U.S. Morning Call: Comments on "fiscal cliff" swing markets

Nov. 30 - U.S. stock futures are pointing to a slightly higher open as the President and Congressional Republicans tackle the ''fiscal cliff.''

-- morning call for Friday US stock futures point to it slightly positive start. As President Obama travels to a factory in Pennsylvania to make its case I'm raising taxes on the wealthy. His trip comes as Republican lawmakers say they haven't made any real progress on the budget standoff. European stocks also focused on fiscal cliff talks but steady at fifteen month high as German lawmakers approved the Greek bail -- deal. In tech FaceBook and Zynga feeling anti social the two companies reporting in regulatory filings on Thursday. Then single would no longer have privileged status on FaceBook security in a deal from 2010. What does this mean for Zynga users on games like farm bill and mafia wars will still be available on FaceBook. But they will no longer feature cross promotions directing users to -- -- web site. In recent quarters fees from Zynga made up 15% of Facebook's total revenues while -- relies on the social network for roughly 80% of its revenue. Shares of -- down 11% in the premarket near two dollars and 35 cents. After some stocks to watch keeping an apple today the iPhone 5 has received clearance from Chinese regulators. Pining away for December debut. The absence of the newest model in China's highly competitive market had severely eroded Apple's sales. Sticking with China KFC's parent company -- saying it expects a decline in fourth quarter sales at restaurants there. China's cooling economy making it difficult to exceed the 21% gain made a year earlier shares of -- down 8% in the premarket. Also check out group on this morning the company's board decided to keep Andrew Mason as CEO. Shares dropped almost 4% on the news after hours trade the stock had jumped a day earlier when Mason said he would -- himself if warranted. Let's wrap up with an economic data October should seem relatively slim gains of point 2% personal income. Despite a gain in payrolls IF RC's average hourly earnings ticking down in part to -- super -- sandy. The Chicago PMI index for November also due out later this morning.
