April 27 - The controversial National Rifle Association holds its annual convention featuring big names and the latest gun technology. Vanessa Johnston reports.

It's a gun enthusiast's dream. Nine acres of the latest gun technology. The National Rifle Association is holding its annual convention in Indiana. Mike Turner traveled all the way from Florida. (SOUNDBITE) (English) VISITOR MIKE TURNER SAYING: "As you can see on this, I believe in the Second Amendment, and I'm here to support it. But more importantly, just to enjoy myself." Many high-profile gun advocates were on the scene, like actor R. Lee Ermey, also known as "The Gunny". (SOUNDBITE) (English) ACTOR R. LEE ERMEY SAYING: "Don't hold your breath, Greg, because the old Gunny will not be running for president anytime soon. Too many skeletons in my closet." The NRA estimates around 70,000 visitors attended. Many gun control activists also came to Indianapolis to protest the NRA.
