ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with a variety of world leaders Wednesday (September 10) in Tianjin ahead of the World Economic Forum's eighth Annual Meeting of The New Champions. Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic was among those holding bilateral talks with the Chinese leader. According to the Xinhua news agency, Li lauded the China-Serbia poltical partnership while Vucic said Serbia is China's sincere friend. Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt also met with Li. She is leading a delegation that includes environmental, energy and architecture experts, the official People's Daily newspaper said. Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama held one-on-one talks as well. China has invested millions of dollars in infrastructure projects and trade in Albania Li also met Mali's President, Ibrahim Boubacar Keita. China has lent Mali millions of dollars in grants for infrastructure projects. The meeting, also known as the "Summer Davos," is promoted as a global gathering on innovation, entrepreneurship, science and technology. It's expected to attract more than 1,900 delegates from 90 countries.
