New Yorkers exitedly await a visit from the British royal couple William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Vanessa Johnston reports.

New Yorkers are anxiously awaiting Sunday's arrival of Britain's Prince William and his wife Kate -- Officially known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge -- Like these school children in Harlem who say they will "jump for joy" when Kate comes for a visit. NATS -- "Where do princesses live?" "In a castle!" Eloise Parker is a contributing editor to Britain's Hello Magazine website. (SOUNDBITE) (English) ELOISE PARKER, HELLOMAGAZINE.COM CONTRIBUTING EDITOR, SAYING: "The appeal of the royals in the U.S. is extraordinary. I think everyone, even the most jaded New Yorkers are fascinated by the history, the drama and the glamour of the British royal family." And Will and Kate's visit is all the buzz at this British-themed restaurant and shop. (SOUNDBITE) (English) MATTHEW KEARNEY, BRITISH, SAYING: "I think we are all very much looking forward to it, particularly the Brits. We're very proud of the two of them. I think they are great representatives of the monarchy and of Great Britain." Some customers are even hoping to catch a glimpse of the royal couple up close. (SOUNDBITE) (English) CHIARA, SAYING: "So excited! I've been so excited for a long time. All my friends are excited. I looked into getting basketball tickets for the Nets game that they're supposedly attending. I think it's great!" But New Yorkers aren't the only ones being paid a royal visit -- Prince William will also stop by the White House on Monday.
