Amazon jumped the gun, opening its holiday sales season with a Black Friday deals store with a special early window for Prime members. Bobbi Rebell reports.

Black Friday is becoming a little more gray each year. Already Amazon jumping the gun - opening its Black Friday deals store weeks ahead of the day actually considered to be Black Friday, the Friday after thanksgiving. Amazon is hoping to lure in Prime members with early access giving them a thirty minute head start on deals. S&P Capital IQ's Tuna Amobi. SOUNDBITE: TUNA AMOBI, EQUITY ANALYST, S&P CAPITAL IQ (ENGLISH) SAYING: "It's not difficult to see why someone might sign up just to access all of these tantalizing deals ahead of other potential shoppers. You know, the good products the great products, as you know, sell out pretty quick, so, it's very possible that it could gain quite a fair amount of subscribers as a result. " He believes Amazon will continue to gain market share over other retailers, and has a buy recommendation on Amazon stock. The move is part of a broader trend. Wal-Mart also got a jump on the holiday, launching Black Friday sales November 1st. According to Deloitte's Holiday Forecast, Amazon and Wal-Mart may have the right idea. Fifty two percent of consumers say they are relying less on Black Friday than they used to. Forty one percent say the same for Cyber Monday. The other twist this year, Black Friday backlash. Outdoor sporting gear retailer REI announced it is closing on Black Friday to encourage its customers to just take the day off.
