ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION Hundreds of protesters demonstrated in several spots in Cleveland, Ohio, on the sidelines of the Republican National Convention (RNC) over police killings of black men. American actor Billy Baldwin observed the protest for some time and said more needs to be done to reform America's police system. (SOUNDBITE) (English) ACTOR, BILLY BALDWIN, SAYING: "Cops are awesome, cops provide an absolutely essential service in our communities that is taken for granted. But at the same time, what's going on with minority communities and undeserved communities and underprivileged communities, the policing procedures don't work, and there has to be reform. And I know they know it, and I know I know it, and I know quite frankly, deep down in their hearts the police department now - there are too many cell phones out there that have caught too many shootings. If you get pulled over for a broken taillight and you're white and 25-years-old, you're not going to get shot and killed. There's something wrong with that, and something's got to change. And I think that we're on the brink of something good happening on the front lines of this cause pretty soon." Protests in Cleveland have been mostly peaceful gatherings of different groups and individuals only loosely united through their distrust of the political system.
