Douglas McIntyre of 24/7 Wall Street: (SOUNDBITE) DOUGLAS MCINTYRE, EDITOR, 24/7 WALL STREET, (ENGLISH) SAYING: "Hollywood has found that making sequels to popular movies is probably the most profitable strategy they can come up with. This movie called 'The Fate of the Furious' is the eight installment in 'The Fast and Furious' string of movies, some of the same stars are in the thing, what you've got, you've got a level of continuity that keeps brings audience in. This is now on the list of 20 most valuable franchises in the history of Hollywood." Universal Pictures didn't provide a budget of the movie, but sources peg the cost at $250 million, making it the most expensive chapter in the series.
