ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, met with Israel's leadership on Wednesday (June 7) during a visit to region. Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took the opportunity to thank the Ambassador for her 'strong stand' in support of the people of Israel. "All I did at the United Nations was tell the truth" the Ambassador said, "I have never taken kindly to bullies and the U.N. has bullied Israel for a very long time and we are not going to let that happen any more." Haley's visit comes a day after the Trump administration gave formal notice that it is reviewing its participation in the U.N. Human Rights Council and called for reforming the body to eliminate what it called its "chronic anti-Israel bias". In Israel, Haley held separate meetings with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin. Later in the day she is expected to meet Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdalla.
