The reasons for a deadly shooting at a New York hospital may have been revealed in an email to a newspaper. The New York Daily News says it received an email from Dr. Henry Bello hours before the shooting at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital that left one doctor dead and six others injured. It says Bello blamed the hospital for preventing him from getting a license to practice medicine in New York. Bello said he had been accused of threatening a colleague, one in a series of what he called quote "bogus complaints." Hospital officials say the gunman worked for the hospital for about six months before resigning in February of 2015 to avoid being fired. The doctor who was shot and killed in the rampage was not supposed to be at work that day. (SOT- Sridhar Chilimuri) "She was filling in a shift for another doctor. She wouldn't normally have been on the floor. The shooting occurred on the 16th and 17th floor, with one fatality and 6 injuries. Out of the six injured only one was a patient. 5 are in critical condition, 3 downgraded to stable, and are doing well. 1 particular patient is still critical condition, stabilized but will need more surgery." Police say the gunman stalked the hospital with this gun, searching for victims, before killing himself.
