STORY: This is Int-Ball, a camera drone robot aboard the International Space Station. It's controlled by researchers from Japanese space agency JAXA on the ground. JAXA has just released the first images Int-Ball has sent to earth from the module Kibo. It was made from 3D-printed parts and existing drone technology. JAXA says taking photographs and video can take up 10 percent of an astronaut's working hours and want to free up that time.... ...while allowing ground researchers to watch the crew conduct experiments in real time.
