A former nurse in Germany has been revealed as one of the country's deadliest serial killers. German media, citing police, reported on Monday that investigators have uncovered an additional 84 murders believed to be committed by the former nurse, who is already serving a life sentence. The 40-year-old man, identified by authorities only as Niles H., has admitted to deliberately injecting patients at two clinics in northern Germany with deadly drugs. He then tried to revive them in order to seem like a hero, according to the broadcaster NOR. A regional court in the northern German city of Oldenburg has already convicted him of two counts of murder, three of attempted murder and one of aggravated assault. Investigators had initially suspected he had killed at least 36 additional patients. They have now dug up 134 bodies in search of evidence. Broadcaster NDR quoted the Oldenburg police chief as saying the number of victims could be even higher as a number of deceased patients have been cremated.
