ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson gave a wide-ranging speech on foreign policy on Monday (October 23), during an address at Chatham House in London. Johnson told the packed room a military option must remain on the table in dealing with North Korea's nuclear program, but added that nobody wants tensions in the Korean peninsula to be resolved in such a way. On Brexit, Johnson urged "friends and partners" in Brussels to advance talks to focus on their future trade relationship, adding that both sides now needed to think creatively to find a solution. He also made it clear he believed the deal between Western powers and Iran to curb its nuclear program will survive despite the United States' decision not to recertify the deal. When asked about UK relations with Russia, Johnson described them as 'difficult'.
