'Nonchalant' Walmart gunman caught: police

Police say Scott Ostrem, the man who allegedly opened fire at a Colorado Walmart killing three has been captured. Linda So reports.

Police say the gunman who calmly walked into a suburban Denver Walmart and fatally shot three people, has been captured. Colorado police say 47-year-old Scott Ostrem was taken into custody near his apartment Thursday morning after receiving a tip from a citizen. SOUNDBITE: VICTOR AVILA, THORNTON POLICE SPOKESMAN, SAYING: 11:01:04 did a high risk stop and taken into custody without incident Prior to his arrest, authorities released an image from a surveillance camera inside the store showing Ostrem nonchalantly walking into the Walmart before he randomly opened fire on shoppers and employees Wednesday night. Police say he fled the scene in a red four-door hatchback. Two men and a woman were killed in the shooting. Police are still investigating a motive but say the shooting appears to be random and there are no indications it was an act of terrorism.
