SOUNDBITE: CHRIS INGRAM, DEMOCRATIC VOTER, SAYING: 8:31:45 "We don't like he's doing." But despite the latest polls showing Democrat Ralph Northam with a slight edge over Republican Ed Gillespie, GOP strategists say the race is tightening The outcome of the governor's race will offer an early test of Trump's political clout and clues about the country's overall political mood....particularly in Democratic strongholds like Arlington. SOUNDBITE: NINA BOTOS, DEMOCRATIC VOTER, SAYING: 8:34:09 "I am a little nervous about the direction the Republican party is heading and so it definitely made me a little more motivated to vote."
