HSBC ups China GDP forecast to 8.1 pct for 2009

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Europe's biggest bank, HSBC Holdings, increased its China GDP forecast for 2009 to 8.1 percent on Thursday from 7.8 percent previously.

HSBC also raised its China GDP forecast for 2010 to 9.5 percent for 2010 from 8.5 percent, and raised its CPI inflation expectation for 2010 to 2.6 percent from 0.8 percent.
