Aug. 23 - Madame Tussauds wax museum in Bangkok unveils the likeness of Indian actor Ambitabh Bachchan. Alicia Powell reports.

One of Bollywood's biggest stars lands in Bangkok. Madame Tussauds unveils the wax likeness of Ambitabh Bachchan. With Thailand becoming a growing tourist destination for Indian families, the figure joins a collection of iconic Bollywood stars at the museum, says general manager, Paul Williams. SOUNDBITE: Paul Williams, Madame Tussauds' general manager, saying (English): "We have launched the Amitabh Bachchan here because of the growing population and visitation of Indian customers to Bangkok. And we are very proud to present one of the most famous actors of the Indian film industry," Madame Tussauds opened its branch in Bangkok last December with a collection of well-known spiritual and political leaders and celebrities.
